Achievers’ Daring Essence of Living A Resurrected Life

Acts 12:1-4 “Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church. And he killed James the brother of John with the sword. And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.) And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after EASTER to bring him forth to the people”.

Luke 22:1-20 “Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the PASSOVER. And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people . . . Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed. And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat . . . And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples? And he shall show you a large upper room furnished: there make ready. And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover. And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him. And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer: For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves: For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come. Exodus 12:1-14 “And the LORD spoke unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for a house: And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb. Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats: And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening. And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it. And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it. Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with alter, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof. Easter 2009 Special Edition

It gives me great pleasure to convey this Special Teaching Edition - Easter ’09 - as we celebrate and commemorate the death, burial and resurrection of our beloved Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ. I pray you will tap into the revelation of all that happened from the cross to the throne wherein you can live a resurrected life style daily. I therefore welcome you into this special edition as we rekindle our spirit and faith in Christ Jesus by His resurrection power conferred upon us to live as VICTORS, WINNERS, OVERCOMERS, ACHIEVERS, and MORE THAN CONQUERORS and in DOMINION over all satanic forces of darkness and spiritual wickedness in the heavenly and earthly places named and yet to be name. It’s your PASSOVER from death to life in Christ Jesus. Amen.

It’s Either Easter . . . OR . . . Passover

Acts 12:1-4 ’’ That’s when King Herod got it into his head to go after some of the church members. He murdered James, John’s brother. When he saw how much it raised his popularity ratings with the Jews, he arrested Peter–all this during Passover Week, mind you– and had him thrown in jail, putting four squads of four soldiers each to guard him. He was planning a public lynching after Passover.’’ (MSG)

1 Corinthians 5:6-8 “Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.”

Luke 22:1-20 “Please see main text scripture”

The word Easter only appears once in the Bible as in the scripture context – Acts 12:4 - above and only in the King James Version of the Bible. Other Bible translations use the word Passover. The Greek word for Easter is – PASCHA – translated Passover: the meal, the day, the festival or special sacrifices connected to it. This is an unfortunate and absurd translation, as Easter was a pagan festival observed long before Christ. It’s not a Christian name, but derived from ‘ISHTAR’, one of the Babylonian titles of an idol goddess – the Queen of Heaven. The Saxon goddess ‘EASTRE’ is the same as the ‘ASTARTE’, the Syrian Venus called – ‘ASHTORETH’. It was the worship of the woman by Israel that was such an abomination to God – 1 Samuel 7:3; I Kings 11:5, 33; 2 Kings 23:13; Jeremiah 7:18; 44:18. Round cakes, imprinted with sign of the cross were made at this festival, the sign being, in the Babylonian mysteries, a sign of life.

The Easter eggs which play a great part in this day’s celebration were common in all heathen nations. The fable of the eggs declares that ‘‘an egg of wondrous size fell from heaven into the river Euphrates, the fish rolled it to the bank, where doves settled upon it and hatched it; and out came ‘ASTARTE’, or ‘ISHTAR’, the goddess of Easter’’. None of this has anything to Christ, Christianity or Believers’ Faith in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Easter period however fall in time with the Passover – feast of unleavened bread. For the Israelites’ Jews it is more than a ceremony but a memorial enacting of their deliverance and redemption in Egypt bondage while for the Christian Faith it’s a commemoration of the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, for our deliverance, redemption and restoration.

Passover – The Unleavened Bread

Acts 12:3-4 ‘’And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.) And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.”

I Corinthians 10:16 -18 ‘’The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread. Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?’’

Exodus 12:7-8, 11, 17 “And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it. And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it . . . And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD’s Passover . . . And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance forever.”

Leviticus 23:1-7 ‘’And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts . . . These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons. In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD’s passover. And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread. In the first day ye shall have a holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.”

The Passover feast was instituted by God, but first celebrated or observed in Egypt. And it’s done as an act of faith and faithfulness towards God for the deliverance of Israelites – Hebrews 11:24-29; Exodus 12:1-36.

Passover was a divine contact and ordinance for deliverance, victory, protection, peace, restoration and covenant to set His people free from Egypt, a place of bondage, suffering, death, torture, rigour and absolute hopelessness – Exodus 1:1-22.

Passover marks and means the end of suffering, bondages, setbacks, oppression, racism, defeat, and death. It also marks the dawn of a new beginning – living as winner, champion, victor, leader, freedom, achiever and covenant etc.

The feast of unleavened bread – Passover – was a shadow of the type of Christ. The Passover requires a lamb, the death of the lamb and sprinkling or shedding of blood. The lamb was their substitute; this is what the Passover lamb was to the children of Israel.

They are six or seven Jewish feasts. The feast of Passover – The unleavened bread – is one of them. It is held on the 14^th of the 1^st month – NISAN, or ABIB (April) in Jewish calendar to commemorate the deliverance – EXODUS – from Egypt as found in the following scriptures: Leviticus 23:1-7; Number 9:5; Joshua 5:10; 2Kings 23:22; 2Chronicle 35:1; Matthew 26:17; Luke 2:41; 22:15; Hebrews 11:28.

The Passover Lamb – A Type of Christ

Isaiah 53:1-12 “. . . He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. ’’

Jesus our Lord and saviour was our Passover lamb. He was and is our Passover from bondage of sin in disobedience to God unto freedom. The Passover lamb was the substitute to enact the deliverance of God’s people – Israelites – as Egypt was a place of absolute bondage – Exodus 1:1-22. And for freedom and triumph, a lamb – male, without spot, wrinkle and blemish – was needed 1Peter 1:18-21.

The Passover Lamb was to be killed, and the blood sprinkled on the door and window post for the angel of judgement to see and PASS OVER God’s people. By the blood, the children of Israel will obtain their redemption and deliverance to be free to serve their God, live in freedom and triumph from the hostility of Egypt. Theirs was an outward redemption and deliverance.

The book of Isaiah 53:1-12 indicates how in the same manner Jesus took the place of a sacrificial and substitution lamb for our deliverance and redemption. Ours is more than outward, it’s wholesome: Spirit, Soul and Body deliverance and redemption – Revelation 7:10, 14, 17; 12:11; 13:8; 5:12; John 1:29, 36, Hebrews 2:14-15; 9:11-15.

The Passover connotes Jesus as sacrificial lamb as 1 Corinthians 5:7b typified in His death, burial and resurrection. Exodus 12:11 indicates the Passover a type of our redeemer. The Passover lamb was characterised in these forms:

Be without Blemish – Ex. 12:5-6; Jn. 1:29; Rev. 5:6-10; 1Pet. 1:19-20.
Must be killed – Ex. 12:6; Jn. 12:24; Heb. 9:22; Rev. 13:8
The blood must be applied – Ex.12:7; Heb. 11:24-28.
The blood is to deliver and redeem – Ex. 12:13; Heb. 10:10, 14; 1 John 1:7.
The feast typified Christ the bread of life answering to the memorial supper – Ex. 12:14; Matt. 26:26-28; 1 Cor. 11:23-26.

The Passover and the Passover lamb were a divine ordinance and means of contact for redemption and restoration of God’s people. It was a divine arrangement. It wasn’t an act of man or political campaign or special pressure group. It’s God who saw His people’s bondages and made the way for their freedom – Acts 7:34-36 – as found in these act:

Exodus 12:1-11 – God Commands sacrifice of Passover lamb
Exodus 12:12-13 – God commands Redemption by blood
Exodus 12:14-28 – God commands Passover – a memorial of Redemption

The substitute act of Jesus as our Passover lamb was divinely arranged, hence it could not be fathomed by the devil and his cohorts as in the following scriptures – 1 Cor. 2:8; 5:6-7; John 1:29, 36; 1 Pet. 1:18-19; Heb. 9:11-15.

Our Redemption – Death, Burial and Resurrection

For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us: therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.”

1 Pet. 1:18-21 “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.”

1 Cor. 15:19-23 “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.”

John 11:25-26 “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?’’

The experiences of deliverance in the Old Testament as in Exodus was a shadow of God’s redemption plan for mankind as fulfilled in New Testament by Christ Jesus. The scriptures of Luke 22 and 23; Matthew 27:1-66 and John 19:28-42 give a relative summary of all that took place in the fulfilment of Christ death, burial and resurrection for all mankind. John 19:30 concludes that it is FINISHED OR ACCOMPLISHED, meaning He had fully paid for our redemption and can live justified from all the bondages of satan and his cohorts.

Jesus’ death as the substitute lamb and by His shed blood has redeemed, re-owned us back to our creator and maker. A complete redemption and restoration for us to live a justified life before in all that Adam lost to the devil – Rev. 5:9-12; Gal. 3:6-9, 13-14, 26-29; Gal. 6;14-16; Col. 1:13-14; Eph. 1:7; Heb. 9:12. The Passover to the Jews was much more than a mere feast but a holy convocation, a memorial of deliverance from bondage.

Salvation from sin, deliverance from satanic bondages, freedom, liberty, triumph etc

Jesus Christ as our redemption and Passover lamb
Restoration of God’s kind of love to us and the hope of eternal life
A covenant established in the eternal blood of Christ Jesus
. . . and many more

Therefore the PASSOVER in the context of EASTER – Greek Pascha – typifies to the Christian Faith believer the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Passover Sunday being a resurrection morning I believe it to be the most vital and important day in a Christian Faith calendar. Everything in Christian faith hinges on the reality of the resurrection. If the resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ is not a literal fact and truth, then the Christian faith is nothing but a mere religion as in others in the world today. Thanks to God that Christ resurrected.

The scriptures of Luke 24:1-12, John 20:1-25, Matthew 28:1-16, 1 Corinthian 15:1-23 and John 11:25-26 had detailed explanations to authenticate that Christ both died, was buried and resurrected from the dead.

Passover – A Memorial of Redemption

Exodus 12:14-28 ”And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance forever . . . And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance forever . . .’’

Matthew 28:19-20 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

Romans 6:1-14 “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin . . . ”

Matthew 26:26-29 “And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and broke it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.”

Passover can only be meaningful if a memorial of the deliverance from Egypt was enacted. God willing to keep His covenant with His people and for posterity He required that the children of Moses keep a memorial of their deliverance from Egypt as in Exodus 12:14.

God also willing to keep the immutability of His counsel in our deliverance has in our Christian faith enacted two ordinances in respect of our redemption. The two ordinances or memorial given to us are:

The water baptism
The Lord’s Super or communion

These ordinances need to be observed by every believer in Christ Jesus. The Baptism indicates our act of identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection unto newness of life – Romans 6:1-14.

The Lord’s Supper signifies a continual reminder of the efficacy of the shed blood and broken body of Christ in our redemption and in the wholeness of the body of Christ in Christ Jesus. Hence we are asked to discern the body and examine ourselves – 1 Cor. 11:17-34; 10:1-22; John 6:22-65; Luke 22:1-20. Upon these the faith covenant is enacted, insured and assured. Hence, we are all commanded and called to partake in the communion of the Lord’s blood and body through discerning the body ministry in Christ less it becomes a mere religious duty with no definite impart upon our life for the good of true services to God in Christ Jesus. Hence many are sick in faith and body today in spite of partaking in the Lord’s Table.

When you come to actualise the essence of Romans 6:1-4 as regards to baptism, you can then live in the abundant grace of God’s freedom and newness of life. This we need to live and enjoy in the Lord. In Baptism death is the mark of baptism, while the burial and resurrection ushers us into a new life of victory over sinful living and the habits that accompany it. A believer that is not living above the knowledge of sin and sinful habits is merely observing the funeral without the actual death to sin that is easily besetting such and the need to live a resurrection life as a new creation in Christ Jesus – Hebrews 6:1-2; 12:1-2.

He is Risen! – You Can Live A Resurrected Life

Luke 24:1-8 “. . . And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, the Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. And they remembered his words”

John 20:1-17 “. . . And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him. And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away. Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master. Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.”

Matthew 27:50-53 ’’Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.”

1 Peter 3:18-22 “For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.”

Matthew 28:11-15 “Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and showed unto the chief priests all the things that were done. And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers, Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept. And if this come to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him, and secure you. So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.”

Jesus died, was buried and resurrected according to the scriptures – Matt. 27:1-66; Luke 22 and 23; John 19, 20, and 21. Jesus fulfilled the scriptures for mankind’s redemption from the bondage of sin and its effect. His death, burial and resurrection are the final blow of God’s wisdom against satan for our redemption – 1 Corinthians 2:8.

In spite of all the fortified forces put in place and the bribery given to the Soldiers on guard of Christ burial tomb, death could not have held Jesus from resurrection. He is RISEN from the grave! The scriptures indicate that when He was buried He went and ministered to the spirits in prison, those who were dead in faith since the days of NOAH who have been held captive by satan and his cohorts while waiting for the redemption of their soul as in the scriptures – 1 Peter 3:18-22, Matthew 27:50-56; Ephesians 4:7-10. He ministered to them and resurrected with them and they all appeared before many in that day of His resurrection according to the scriptures before He left to present himself to the Father God.

Jesus is Risen! He is no longer in the grave and we can’t seek him and live our life as if He is dead and still in the grave. It’s time for us to live a resurrected life in our Christ walk of faith. Let’s come out of the dead work of religion and live in the resurrected life of Jesus which He has given us. The days of living as dead in mediocrity, failure mentality, blame factor mentality, a never do good or do well and I can’t always make it in life attitude is over.

No matter your circumstances today and human limitations by every standard of life, I make bold to say to you to arise for Christ is risen! Put on a new look of faith and life. Give a fresh smile to your face for your redemption is come and you can become in life again. Lift your head and shoulder high for Jesus has given us beauty for ashes, oil of joy for mourning and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness that we might be trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord – Isaiah 63:1-3. The power and grip of sin and satan are broken and rendered powerless; we can live a justified life and live free today. Forgiveness is possible, mercy, healing and prosperity are within reach for us today, for Christ is RISEN!

You have no right to live a defeated, bruised and battered life anymore. You have a right to the resurrected life no matter the circumstances you find yourself today. You are redeemed, a winner, victor any day, any where. Praise God!

He is Enthroned – Doing Exploits In His Name

Dan 11:32 “. . . but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.”

John 20:15-17 ’’Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away. Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master. Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.”

Eph. 1:17-23 “. . . Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all.”

Eph. 2:6-7 ’’And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.”

In the book of John 20:15-17 we are scripturally informed how Jesus was to go to the Father God as soon as He resurrected having accomplished divine purposes during the period He was in the grave by the visit to those in prison and His resurrection with them according to the holy writ - 1 Peter 3:18-22, Matt. 27:50-56; Psalm 24:7-10; Eph. 4:7-10. Mary Magdalene was denied the opportunity of touching the Lord as soon as He resurrected for His mission for human redemption was not yet accomplished until the Father God had received and accepted the accomplished redemption work of His sent son for mankind’s redemption – John 20:15-18; Rev. 4 and 5.

The book of Revelation 4 and 5 gives a summary of the heavenly events on how Jesus redemption works was received and He was enthroned as He has always been. Jesus stripped satan of the keys and authority which Adam lost to him and restored them back to humanity, much more to His Church having led captivity captive and received gifts for men – Eph. 4:7-19; Rev. 1:5 , 18; 5:9-12; Matthew 28:16-20; 16:18-19; Mark 16:15-20.

Afterwards, Jesus presented His done deed to the Father God as in the context scripture of John 20:15-18 and Ephesians 4:7-10, He appeared to many as well as the disciples for another 40days before His ascension –Luke 24:13-53; John 20:11 – 21:25; Acts 1:1-11. Today, Jesus is enthroned, seated in the heavenly places with God the FATHER. At His enthronement He lifted us all to be seated up with Him at the right hand of the Father over principalities, powers and dominions – Eph. 1:17-23; 2:6-7. We have been made to triumph, live a victorious and a more than conquerors life in His name which He has bestowed to us according to the scriptures – Phil. 2:9-11; 2 Corinthian 2:14; 1 Corinthian 15:54-57; and Romans 8:34.

By Jesus’ resurrection and enthronement we can access all His powers to do life according to the scriptures as in the following below:

John 11:25-26 – living by the resurrection concept.

Roman 6:8-11, 14 – death to sin, living in dominion and newness of life.

Rev. 1:18; Matt. 28:18 – All power submit to His name.

Heb. 2:14-15 – Delivered from the spirit of fear and sudden death.

Phil. 3:20-21 – Power to subdue all things.

John 13:3 – Power over all things.

John 17:2 – Power over all flesh.

Phil. 2:9-11 – All powers bow their knees and confess before His name.

You can live a resurrected life today for Jesus has given you His name. That’s the essence of the PASSOVER. At His name sicknesses are healed, deliverance comes to the captives, wisdom to do life comes, salvation comes to men, forgiveness and mercies come to men, doors of opportunities and prosperity come to men and many others. Take advantage of knowing this today and live an exciting free life in His name. You’ve passed from death to life in Christ Jesus, amen.

Galatians 6:14-16 ‘’But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.’’

FINALLY – It’s Your PASSOVER!

Phil. 3:10 “That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.”

Rom. 8:9-11 “But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”

John 6:63 “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”

Beloved, I wish I could be able to have explained in earnest in more detail about the Passover and all that happened from the cross to the throne in all that Christ is and has accomplished for us on the cross when He purchased our Redemption by His life in His blood as our – PASSOVER LAMB.

The Believer in Christ is saved by the blood of ‘’the lamb slain from the foundation of the world – Rev 13:8, and is strengthened daily by feasting on the word – the living Word, Christ, and the written word, the Holy Scriptures’’.

Take advantage of the knowledge made available to you today in this AFD Special Edition. It’s time to begin to live a resurrected life and not a defeated, fearful, failure, hopeless and aimless mentality consciousness. Your redemption is fully paid for and it’s your PASOVER from all sorts of bondages and setbacks. Jesus has fulfilled all that God requires of Him, it’s now ours to appropriate them into reality for they are true.

You can boldly approach God’s presence today and obtain grace to meet all your various needs, desires and aspirations in faith. The Israelites applied the blood by faith, they were delivered and redeemed into their promise redemption, in the same way, apply Jesus’ blood by faith and enjoy it for your good.

It’s your PASSOVER! He is RISEN!! Go living a resurrected life. I pray that our God delivers you from all human limitations and grants you His abundant mercies and blessings, as you have passed from death to life, live it to the full in Jesus name, amen. May you daily enjoy an Amazing Grace, Awesome Redemption and Blessed PASSOVER until the Lord return!

IF I WERE A MOTHER!

- Empowering Godly Woman To Become Achiever -

Luke 1:45 ‘’And blessed is she that believed for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.’’

Prov. 14:1 ‘’Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands. ‘’

Prov. 24:3-4 ‘’Through wisdom is a house built; and by understanding it is established: And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.’’

Prov. 29:15 ‘‘The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.’’

Blessed Mother Day! I bring you special and awesome greetings in the precious name of our saviour and Lord Jesus Christ in whom we live, we move and we have our being – Amen! It beholds God in His grace to call you His people – A mother, a godly woman, an achiever. It’s my prayer that by this special edition of the Achievers’ Faith Digest you might be inspired to aspire and not expire; that you might be enlightened, receive revelation and graceful empowerment by the spirit of God – to the end you might excel, your dreams and aspirations in life might be fruitful and you can be a blessing to yourself, family, humanity and posterity without hindrances. I also pray that you will find the goodwill of God to celebrate the love that the special time brings on – MOTHERS DAY!

MOTHERS DAY ‘09 SPECIAL EDITION

Thanks to God for Mothers’ Day! For the smiles and virtues it brings on – Mothers – faces on this day. Looking through the happenings in the world today – a time supposedly to be of mans ‘great’ invention, discovery and economic empowering – has given us neither peace nor harmony but trauma in all human phases of existence. Today, killings and wars go on our streets, uncertainties in our nations, our world with political and economic instability, family unrest and breakdown, relational unfaithfulness, generational decadence, business and career setbacks etc. just to name a few. All this being is in pursuit of answers to human problems. Our world cries with great thirst and hunger, seeking for who’s – Mothers’ Child – will quench her yearnings, desires and aspirations. This is the reason that Mothers Day – a yearly set apart day to appreciate and celebrate Motherhood in the Christian faith world – which I consider to be very vital to all mankind irrespective of religious beliefs, race or generation, although dates differ in nations – March 22, ’09 in United Kingdom.

Am specially constrained by the inspiration of the blessed Holy Spirit to remind or inform you that you are – SPECIAL. Listening to the sayings of the Holy Spirit as in Luke 1:45, the Holy Spirit wants to let you know again and again that God is determined to bring to fruitfulness and fulfilment all things He has spoken to you, or is speaking or will speak to you about as you believe in His words.

To be a mother is an act of grace. Any woman can be a Mum, but only a special heartfelt woman lives beyond been a mum but – a Mother! Motherhood is special and much more vital when you are a godly woman whose earnest desire is to please God by seeing God’s purposes come to pass in your life, family and humanity. That is when your whole life totally depends on God’s guidance, not mere wishful thoughts and concepts of human ideology. Not the consideration of God as a last resort after other efforts and trials have been sorted and made outside Him as if He does not exist at all. God wants to bring about a glorious today and better tomorrow to our generation and posterity and motherhood has a very major part to play in bringing it to fruitfulness. Will you Let God?

IF I WERE A MOTHER – A godly and blessed woman

Luke 1:45 ‘’And blessed is she that believed for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.’’

1 Peter 3:5 – 9 ‘’For after this manner in the old time the holy (godly) women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves . . . and as being heirs together of the grace of life . . . Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.’’

Galatians 3:13-14 ‘’Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.’’

The context scriptures above indicate one primary thing – Blessed or Blessings. The blessed mother is the woman who has entered a covenant of grace made available by our Lord Jesus Christ for all who will believe in Him. To be – Blessed – means to be empowered to: succeed, achieve, become, bring forth or bring about positive results in life. When someone says to you – be blessed or God bless or God’s blessings – they are invariably declaring you to be empowered to succeed. For the Achievers woman – Mother – is empowered by God to succeed in life endeavours as a - woman, wife and mother. It’s a fact in society that not all mothers are wives but one thing is certain they are called woman, mother to a child or children. A godly Christian woman is blessed to achieve greatness in life and have good success (Joshua 1:8; Psalm 1:1-3; 3John2).

The godly Christian woman – Mother- is called to inherit a blessing as found in 1 Peter 3:9. The godly Christian woman – mother – is redeemed from curses to a blessed life as in Galatians 3:13-14. The godly Christian woman is blessed simply because she is a Believer and believes in the entirety of God’s word and promises concerning her in matters of life as in Luke 1:45. If I were a mother – godly woman - I will live in the grace of God and in the consciousness of the blessedness God has afforded me in Christ Jesus as a woman – redeemed and blessed. This act of consciousness in our daily life will liberate and give freedom to you, family, church, society and all and sundry.

IF I WERE A MOTHER – Excellence in a virtuous woman

Proverb 31:10 ‘’ Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.’’

Proverb 31:29 ‘’Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.’’

Proverb 14:1 ‘’Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.’’

Proverb 24:3-4 ‘’Through wisdom is a house built; and by understanding it is established: And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.’’

To excel means – to do well, to achieve, to be exceptional, to surpass, above limit, to stand out or be outstanding and superior while virtue has to do with good behaviour, noble character, moral goodness and good qualities in life etc.

If I were a woman, my priority would be to use my God given blessedness in my life to excel in virtue. The proverbs thirty one woman happens to be a mother with such an outstanding virtue that is worth knowing and living for if we must bring about the desired change in our life, family and society at large. One key issue of this proverb woman is that she is not like any kind of woman but an excellent woman in virtue – Goodness. She is blessed – empowered to succeed – and she lives this out. I believe that if I was a woman, I would be the new woman for the new Church.

There is a heart cry today in families, the church and society at large for a true motherhood. Betrayers are found in homes, the church and society today where children have been abandoned and some lack proper parental care hence they live with broken spirits and emotional heartbreak. It’s become a terrible and damaging issue of life today that the rate of divorce going on in Christian FAITH life is heartbreaking when considering that the child or children involved become the victims of two elephants fighting. These acts of parental instability as a result of - Mothers or/and Fathers - ends up damaging the child’s ability to trust in God fully in spite of the respective individual explanations which they can’t comprehend. This individualistic selfishness for whatever reasons only ends in crushing the child faith in God. Unlike the Proverbial mother whose daily effort is to excel in virtue – goodness – by the blessedness – empowerment – she has received to succeed.

IF I WERE A MOTHER – Will Pursue Grace To Excel

John 15:5 ‘’I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.’’

Ephesians 2:8-10 ‘’For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.’’

2Timothy 1:9 ‘’Who hath saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.’’

Excelling in virtue is an act of the grace of God made available to us by our Lord Jesus Christ. Grace is God’s kindness shown towards people because He loves them; Grace is the enablement from on high which is beyond human ability. Grace is God’s free gift given to us without our involvement. GRACE is – God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense. This means that for a virtuous mother to achieve and succeed, she needs the grace available from the Godhead:

2 Corinthians 13:14 ‘’’The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.’’

Excelling in virtue as a godly woman – mother – one needs to make Jesus Christ the Lord of their life; the Holy Spirit has to be your general overseer and the Father God has to be positioned to be Father indeed in all matters of doing life. Excelling in virtue is about doing life for the good of our wellbeing, family, church and society at large.

IF I WERE A MOTHER – godly, blessed & virtues woman – my passion daily will be to pursue God continually and to ask of Him for the grace to excel in virtues in becoming as (not like) the Proverb thirty-one woman in these respects:

1. Be VITAL as Deborah. Proverb 31:11; Judges 4 & 5.

2. Be an INTERCESSOR as Anna. Proverb 31:18b; Luke 2:36-38.

3. Be RESOURCESFUL as Dorcas. Proverb 31:11-15, 17-18; 24, 27; Acts 9:36-42.

4. Be TEMPERATE as Esther. Proverb 31:26; Esther 1-9.

5. Be UNFAILING & DEPENDABLE as Ruth. Proverb 31:11, 28; Ruth 1-4.

6. Be OPTIMISTIC & POSITIVE as Mary Magdalene. Proverb 31:16, 25; John 20:1-18.

7. Be UNIQUE, SIMPLE & ELEGANT as Mary. Proverb 31:22, 29; Luke 1:26-33.

8. Be SUBMISSIVE as Sarah. Proverb 31:15, 23, 25; Genesis 18:11-24; 1 peter 3:1-6.

9. Be WISE as Lydia. Prov. 31:16, 25; Acts 16:14-15.

10. Be an OVERCOMER as Jael. Proverb 31:25; Judges 4 & 5.

11. Be MOTHERLY as Hannah. Proverb 31:15, 21; 29:15; 22:6, 15; 23:14; 1 Samuel 1-3.

12. Be AFFECTIONATE as the Shunammite Woman. Proverb 31:20, 26; 2 Kings 4:8-37.

13. Be NICE as Abigail. Proverb 31:12; 1 Samuel 25:2-18, 23, 32.

14. Be FAITHFUL & EXEMPLARY as Lois & Eunice. Proverb 31:23; 2 Timothy 1:3-6.

Finally: IF I WERE A MOTHER – What else is there as virtue!

Galatians 2:22-23 ‘’ But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.’’

Philippians 4:8 ‘’Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.’’

The above scriptures in context are other great virtues which can enhance the grace for motherhood. IF I WERE A MOTHER – godly, blessed & virtues woman – I will trust in the grace of God to help me create and manifest these virtues in my day to day life, also, to help me create an atmosphere which my family and society can look up to and enjoy. For I know when I do this I will raise godly children thereby averting the shame that comes to a mother as in;

Proverbs 29:15 ‘’The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.’’

Dearly beloved Mother, I do pray that you will have a wonderful MOTHERS’ DAY not only for today being special but for the rest of your life in the empowering name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen. BE ETERNALLY BLESSED!

Personal FAITH On The ANOINTED

- Achievers Secret to Divine Breakthroughs -

John 6:28-29 ‘’Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.’’

Romans 1:11 ‘’For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established’’

Acts 10:38 ‘’How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.’’

Shalom! I bring you awesome, graceful and amazing Kingdom greetings in the majestic and precious name of our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ, Amen!! The month of - March – is the 3^rd month of the lunar calendar year. The significance of the number 3 is greater than meet the eye as indicated in the following perspective:

· The persons of the Godhead - Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit

· Three Temptation Acts – Pride of life, Lust of the eyes and Lust of the Flesh

Much more to all these mentioned, in United Kingdom where I live, it’s the month that ends the financial year, meaning a time of stocktaking’s, book balancing, auditing probably and the formulation period of the next financial year that may invariably affect those that live in this part of the world. With these in mind, am inspired with many challenges in my spirit and with a heart of thanksgiving to God in bringing you this remarkable edition topic – Personal FAITH on the ANOINTED. I pray by it you will find grace in God to your right of overflow and breakthroughs as an achiever in God.

Jehovah God- The Uncommon Achiever

Genesis 1:1-31 ‘‘In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness . . .’’

John 10:30-38 ‘’I and my Father are one . . . Jesus answered them, is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods. If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the Scripture cannot be broken . . . But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.’’

Psalm 82:6 ‘’I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.’’ Genesis 3:5

The first impression I had of God, was that He is an ACHIEVER. The 1^st verse of the 1^st Chapter of the 1^stbook of the Bible is evidence of this – GOD THE CREATOR! The earth was totally impoverished with darkness, without form and void. But God being an achiever changed this state. He created an atmosphere which He would want to see and enjoy. He did the uncommon – hence I call Him the uncommon achiever.

We are His children, sons and daughters of the Most High God – The Uncommon Achiever.

In His stead He wants us to achieve desired goals and become in life what we are born to be. Creating the atmosphere we want to enjoy and be pleased with. This is what Jesus did while on earth, it is why He died, was buried and resurrected – so that we too might be uncommon achievers.

The state of the economy today contradicts many dreams and aspirations in life. It’s in the midst of this that God guarantees your opportunity to make a difference with kingdom lifestyle pattern and not in the way that the world wisdom works. Knowing this limitation of human ways or wisdom, this edition is to bring about the scriptural truth to obtain triumph and victory in our daily life – Personal FAITH on the ANOINTED

The Anointed One – Jesus first, then, the CALLED Ministers of God

1 John 4:2 ‘’Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God.’’

Luke 4:18-20 ‘’The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.’’

Matt. 1:1, 16-17 ‘’The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham . . . And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ. So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.’’

The Holy writ of Matthew 1:1, John 1:14, 1 Timothy 3:16 and 1 John 4:2 speak of Jesus Christ made manifest in the flesh and Him being the saviour of the world and Lord of our life. At His name as in - Philippians 2:9-11 – all power submits and answers to His majestic person. However, Acts 10:38 and Luke 4:18-20, indicate how Jesus needed to be anointed to do the purposeful works of God on earth.

Christ (Greek) means – Christos – the Messiah, which means – the anointed one – the sent one. Know this, the messiah, the anointed one, the sent one – Christ - though He was and is the son of God in essence, yet in His humanity needed to be anointed as – sent one – by the Father, to do the purposeful work of God on earth. Jesus as Christ, the son of man, of Nazareth in Bethlehem Judah was the anointed sent one of God the Father.

John 6:26-29 ‘’Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.’’

John 1:6-8 ‘’There was a MAN SENT from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was SENT to bear witness of that Light.’’

The Scriptures of John 6:26-29 and John 1:6-8 speak of the status of the anointed one – the one God has chosen, sent to bear witness on the behalf of God. They are God’s witness bearers, specially anointed for a cause with a defined assignment in the life of men. In the book of Isaiah 44:24-26, they are called God’s messengers – special ambassadors of God (2Corinthian 5:20). They are the sought out, sent one among many.

1 Corinthian 1:26-29 ‘’For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to naught things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence.’’

Ephesians 4:7-11 ‘’But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers’’

1Corinthian 12:28-31 ‘’And God hath SET some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles? Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet show I unto you a more excellent way.’’

The above scriptures in context, indicate also the anointed one is – the called out, set apart one - with specific and special assignment in the body ministry which could be local or international. They are God’s special gift to and for the Churches of Christ. They are not merely made by self intent which I call – GOERS – but are SET apart, SENT messengers with defined instruction from God. Every called messenger of God is a carrier of a peculiar divine assignment and message which is either to a people or generation. God will always affirm and confirm their Message (words) and counsels (Isaiah 44:24-226). The anointed one as in - Isaiah 53:1and Mark 3:13-15 – is a divine reporter and journalist; a called and appointed servant of God and the sent one with God’s assigned intent to mankind.

In the likeness of our Lord Jesus Christ in His humanity (Acts 2:22, Heb. 5:7-9) all called servants of God are regarded as the anointed one. They bear the specific or defined mark of God’s grace and anointing; they are commissioned with specific and special assignment either to a people or a generation. They are also a mark of true witness bearer of the manifold graces of God.

1 John 2:20, 27 ‘’But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things . . . But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.’’

2 Tim. 1:8-11 ‘’Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; Who hath saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.’’

Note carefully, that in – 1 John 2:20, 27 – every believer has the anointing of God imbedded in their spirit being for individuals to authenticate the grace of God for their life. That notwithstanding, does not necessarily mean they are in the class or have now fallen among called out one – Anointed One. They may have anointing, but basically are bestowed to the believer in Christ to enable them assist the anointed one in accomplishing their God given assignment to either a people or generation. This is the reason Apostle Paul writing to Timothy in – 1 Tim. 5:22 – said he should not lay hands on people suddenly or quickly into an anointed ones office or calling. Been able to speak in other tongues or experience some spiritual opportunities doesn’t define been called of God into an anointed ones Office – 2 Tim. 1:8-11; Acts 13:1-3. This is why they are many casualties and confusion in the body of Christ today – this ought not to be so. You need to be called, appointed, set apart of God to function as a true witness or an envoy on behalf of God. Man’s place is only to affirm the grace God has given you in a particular assignment – Gal. 2:1-10. However, the foundation of God stands sure, and God knows His own - (2 Tim. 2:19).

Personal Faith – A Believing and Receiving Spirit

Isaiah 53:1 ‘’ Who hath BELIEVED our REPORT? and to whom is the ARM of the LORD revealed?’’ (John 12:37-50; Romans 10:14-21)

John 1:12 ‘’But as many as RECEIVED him, to them gave he power (RIGHT) to BECOME the sons of God, even to them that BELIEVE on his name’’

Faith is the act of trust, to believe and receive into your life the graces of God. In life, you can only appreciate what you actually or truly treasure. People can only put their Faith on people whom they truly treasure. Hence, the book of John 1:12 tells us that – to as many who believe to receive Christ – the anointed one- they are the ones who have access to God’s enabling Power – rights and privileges – to BECOME God’s sons – a position to exercise divine authority. Many people want to – BE, but don’t want to receive the anointed one even as Christ commended in – John 6:28-29. The principle of the kingdom is very simple and straight forward for all who desire God’s will in their personal life, but some prefer to make life difficult for themselves by choosing the way of struggle, pains and complaints with their own wisdom.

In the Holy writ of John 6:28-29, they that desire to do the works of God and become in life came asking Jesus to inform them how they can work the works of God. Jesus simply answered them to BELIEVE and RECEIVE – have Faith – on the one whom God have SENT – called, anointed. And in Isaiah 53:1, the scripture portray the need of being sent, and in believing and receiving as a major avenue of seeing the ARM of God for our victory, breakthroughs to be REVEAL.

Faith – Believing and Receiving – is the only heavenly outpour legal tender to receive from God and for God to release His graciousness and blessings to enable us to have power to create the atmosphere we desired to enjoy – (Heb. 11:6; Habakkuk 2:4; Rom. 1:17). This is the kingdom principle in spite of the abuse in the kingdom by some supposed – anointed ones – not teaching and living the truth.

Relating To – The Grace on the Anointed

1 Corinthians 1:26-28 ‘’For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to naught things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence.’’

James 5:13-15 ‘’Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.‘’

Rom. 1:11 ‘’For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established’’

Every called servant of God – the anointed one – is a carrier of the grace of God as a sent one. Every messenger of God is sent with a defined and assigned message in the commission. And if you can locate that grace upon them by locating yourself in their leadership in mentorship and Pastoral – Shepherd hood – you will never be weary or burnt out in life, when you have a right attitude to seek for the grace of God they are carrying in their life – peculiar anointing – Matt. 10:40-44. God’s anointed one may not be as pious, eloquent, vibrant, enriched, opportune and educated as may be expected in human criteria, what is vital and important is that such a person is a carrier of God’s grace as seen in - 1 Corinthian 1:26-29. The grace an anointed one is carrying is vital when it is of God and knowingly or unknowingly you will need it to sustain and preserve life. I say by reason of knowledge, locate it today, MADLY!

To relate to this grace by an act of locating and positioning your life requires lots of caution on the individual achievers part, knowing full well that grace can make and unmake one by our attitude towards the person whom we’ve yielded our faith to. Spiritual laws are much more real than the natural rules of life, hence you need to be certain whom and how you submit your spirit to such. When you do relate to the anointed as a commoner, you get a commoner feedback from God’s grace upon such, but if with earnest spirit of gracefulness, you will receive the same like blessings of God just as typified in – Matt. 10:40-44. It is spiritually very dangerous to relate so casually to such a person who is carrying an assignment and grace – anointing – of God. It’s for this reason the apostles, even Jesus’ earthly brothers inclusive, in all their epistles were very careful not to relate to Christ – the anointed one – in the fleshly look of knowing him day to day as Apostle Paul indicates for all of them as in:

2 Corinthians 5:14-16 ‘’For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.’’

Therefore, relate to grace if you must receive unction to your situation through the ministry of such an individual. Relating so casually may result in God’s anger without notice – 1 Sam. 12:1-9; 2 Chron. 36:14-18. For this cause also, Apostle Paul was constrained to warn and remind the Corinthian Church how to relate to Him as in:

1 Corinthians 4:14-16 ‘‘I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you. For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.‘’

Benefits – Relating with right Attitude

Rom. 1:11 ‘’For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established’’

A right attitude will always reproduce a right altitude in any life situation. Herein are some benefits as a result of exercising a right and healthy relationship with which you submit your faith to – ANOINTED ONE:

· They are chosen, anointed and sent one of God for you – John 6:28-29; Mk. 3:13-19; Acts 13:1-3.

· God delivers and preserves life through them – Hosea 12:13 (Exod. 33:11, 13-17); James 5:14-15.

· They are carriers of God’s secrets for your benefits – Amos 3:7; Deut. 29:29; Psalm 25:14.

· God honours and always affirms and confirms the words of His servant – Isaiah 44:24-26; Eph. 4:7-16; Acts 27:25 (14-44); Mk. 16:16-20; John 3:34.

· They are anointed to impart graces for your good and situations – Rom. 1:11; 2 Cor. 6:10; Deut. 34:9

· They are God’s special gift to you; treasure and value them – Eph. 4:7-11; 1 Cor. 12:28- 31.

· They are chosen as shepherd to feed you with knowledge and understanding, and not story tellers – 1 Cor. 2:1-5; Jere. 3:15; 23:4; Ezek. 34:23

· They are your mentor and spiritual father – 1 Corinthians 4:14-16; Psalm 78:70-72.

· They are Shepherd to tend and visit you – Prov. 27:23-27; Psalm 78:70-72; Acts 15:36; James 1:27.

· They are there to set your spirit with fervency by the Word of God – Prov. 26:20; 2 Tim. 2:15; 3:4-17; John 3:34

· They are Shepherd to feed you and look after you’re well being spiritually – Acts 20:28; John 21:15-17.

· They are to mature you in faith and unto all good works – Eph. 4:11-16.

· They are supposedly chosen to be leaders by example – Isaiah 55:4; 1 Tim. 4:12.

· They are there to have an oversight, to direct and guide you – 1 Peter 5:1-4

· . . . and many more

Ministering to – The Anointed One - Your Pastor

John 6:22-29 ’’Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.’’

1 Tim. 3:15 ‘’But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.’’

Hosea 12:13 ’’And by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved.’’

2 Chronicle 20:20 ’’ . . . Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.’’

I make bold to say that it’s the Faith of the Anointed One that establishes and prospers the people and the Church and not vice versa – Eph. 4:11-16; Acts6:1-6; 16:1-5. This is why the accusation of church members for church or ministry problems is falsehood, foolishness and ignorance of the grace available to any of such anointed servant of God who goes about complaining. For a Church is a local or universal body of born again believers in Christ Jesus, having a Head - Shepherd. When the - anointed one - recognises and stands faithfully in his called office, his faith by the faith of the members in and on him will reproduce abundance of increase spiritually, physically, financially and materially in the Church and upon the members. Hence I can say by reason of grace that God wants His people to BECOME in life in spite of life circumstances and situations, especially in this present economic challenge of our Faith in God – Genesis 26:1-14; John 1:12.

Locating and positioning yourself to a local Church is a paramount kingdom pattern for an effective and effectual ministering to your Pastor – the anointed one. This will establish a divine covenant that will unleash God’s eternal purposes in your life. It will end famine of God’s word in your life, such that what you need in enhancing your faith to receive from God will be available – Hosea 8:11-13. In the Bible days, peoples faith on the anointed one caused them to received graces in their trial times from God as exampled in – 2 Kings 4:1-44. For in our dispensation it will end all struggles and spiritual malady and physical health failures, financial limitations, emotional breakdowns, career setbacks and many other life challenging situations when we do same - kingdom way.

With all sincerity of heart I present a layout guide in ministering to your PASTOR –

· Receive and celebrate your Pastor as God’s gift to you. Gift are treasured by how much value you place on it and who is the giver and the spirit that comes with the giving. Know for sure that your Pastor is a ministry gift of God unto you – Eph. 4;8, 11-12; John 1;12; Joshua 6:28-29; 1 Cor. 1:26-28.

· Believe in your Pastor and his calling. It’s not worth staying under any ministry gift you don’t respect or have regards for and you treat with a bias, doubtful and mistrust attitude – Isaiah 53:1; 2 Chronicle 20:20’ John 6:28-29; Hosea 12:13.

· Do not sell, gossip or touch your Pastor. If He is wrong pray for him, commit him to God who judges justly and that has called him. If you are in a position of speaking with him, follow the spirit of Aquila and Priscilla as in – Acts 18: 24-28. God will take care of him and save our soul - Luke 17:1-2; 22:1-16; Psalm 10:15; 1 Sam. 24:9-15; 26:5-12.

· Protect and defend your Pastor. It’s only in Church life I have found that soldiers – the army of the Lord – are buried alive while they are still breathing. Don’t bury your Pastor before unbelievers within Church and outside Church - Mk. 14:43-49; Josh 18:11; Acts 9:25.

· Lift up the hands of your Pastor as Aaron and Hur. Don’t bring him down either by one or crowd and by words or deed. Exodus 17:8-16; John 13:18-30.

· Endeavour – make an effort – to know your Pastor, his wife/her husband and the family; merely as a standard, but as a leading example. For the more you know them, as knowing a person, the better you understand them, work and walk with them, bear and tolerate them and pray for them. For they are humans like you though they have a special call of grace upon their life. 1 Thess 5:12; 2 Corinthians 5:14-16.

· Esteem your Pastor very highly in love not in eye services. This does not mean to worship him or exalt him as Christ but to honour, respect and dignify him as a leader – for the kingdom work sake – PASTORING. 1 Thess. 5:13; 1 Tim. 5:17-19; John10:37-38.

· Pray for him regularly and consistently, so that the WORD of God might have a free course – unhindered and be glorified. 2 Thess. 3:1-2; 1 Corinthians 16:9; Mk 16:16-20; Acts 19:20; Eph. 6:18-20.

· Communicate to your Pastor physical with worldly goods, not of necessity but as support to enable him have less distract of physical needs and to devote much on the grace given to establish and prosper the Church and the members and the work of the ministry. Spare your time, your food, your money, your physique for Church work and where required domestic chores especially for the wife and children. When He breaks down in health or physique due to no assistance, he will do less work of gracefulness to enhance your blessings. Let him know if you are being blessed by His ministry; spare time to attend when He puts up programmes etc. Gal. 6:6; Hebrews 7:5; Gal. 3:7; Hebrews 6:10-12; Matt. 10:40-42.

· Follow your Pastor to be discipled and mentored – understand his vision, plan and dimension and purposes and pursuit in ministry. Follow to know his values, believes and assignment in the local and body ministry. Hebrews 6:12 (amplified); Jere. 6:16; Phil. 4:9; 1 Cor. 4:16.

· Give time to attend, listen and obey his teachings. Be convincing of him as your Pastor, hearing from God. Be a doer of the word and not a disgrace or hindrance to his work in the ministry. Let not his effort in you be in vain. 1 Cor. 9:12; 11:1-2; Acts 20:20-32; 6:1-7; James 1:22-25; Gal. 2:21.

· . . . And as may be led of the Holy Spirit

Finally – Thanks!

Matt. 16:17-19 ’ ‘And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.’’

Eph. 4:7-16 ’ ‘. . . And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.’’

Thanks for locating and positioning yourself in a local Church having a shepherd – PASTOR. We live in a time of quick fix generation and for that they are more spiritual harlots hovering to be Christian with no distinct place of cooperate worship nor having Shepherd who overseer their Faith in God.

Beloved, I congratulate you with thanks because I know that when you obey the kingdom life style you are bound to reap and prosper in the kingdom. I can perceive a cry in the ream of the spirit awaiting you in this month of – MARCH – for you just to begin to have faith in God’s anointed to enable your concealed blessings to start revealing and manifesting. It’s in such a time that God wants to do the uncommon things through you, because you are made for uniqueness.

Therefore, Have FAITH – believe and receive – God’s anointed, the sent one to you, the messenger of God, for Jesus gave him to you as a gift. Know him as your pastor by studying His life and Christian leadership; esteem him very highly in love and not eye service. Communicate to him with a graceful heart; follow after him faithfully and humbly obeying his teachings that you might grow with testimony to his effort and not a disgrace. Protect and defend him and I perceive that God by these will grant you salvation and prosperity in the midst of famine, amen.

I hereby pray until I come your way again, that by this months edition you will be established and prosperous in everything that pertains to life and godliness. That you will know God’s goodness in grace and virtue and peace throughout in this remarkable month – MARCH – in Jesus name, Amen!

Marriage: A Covenant of Grace

Prov. 20:6 ”Most men will proclaim each his own goodness, But who can find a Faithful man? ”

Prov. 31:10 ”Who can find a Virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies”

Heb. 13:4 ”Marriage is Honourable among all, and the bed undefiled . . .”

Marriage is God’s: A place of reverence, love, faithfulness and trust in His Church. A covenant bestowed with Honour, dignity and integrity. God made it a covenant and not a mere contract, for the good of mankind. Marriage is made to be favourable, admirable and blessed to be a blessing – it’s not a curse or necessary evil. Marriage is made male and female, also, for a man and woman – not for boys and girls. Success in marriage is an act of wisdom - knowledge and understanding – to make it work, endeavouring to maintain it’s worth; It involves falling in love many times and always with the same person; It’s more than finding the right person – it’s being the right person: Looking for a Faithful Man? Are you a Virtuous Woman? Marriage is worth celebrating – there - God bestowed Honour, Dignity and Blessings. Marriage is far more than having a child or children or worldly goods in essence – It’s a covenant of grace for God’s glory. Amen!

Wisdom: Excellency Of Knowledge That Gives Life

Ecclesiastes 7:12 ‘For Wisdom is a defence, and Money is a defence; but the excellency of Knowledge is, that Wisdom gives LIFE to them that have it”

A man’s foolishness is His own mountain, but the excellency of knowledge – Wisdom – will grant him dominion. Your dominion in life is a product of your Wisdom - excellency in knowledge. Wisdom is the ability to discern a difference in life issues. Wisdom is a choice in life, you can learn it by humility through mentorship or by pain through mistakes and circumstances of life. This is what gives life to your total well-being. And life is for living they say. You may think there is a problem or crisis in your – Marriage, finance, relationship, business, career, ministry, name it? It is actually not – but only a Wisdom problem – that’s why there is no life and joy but much complains, excuses, bitterness. and blame factors. Ability to discern a difference in life - wisdom - is what gives hope, faith and love into it. Wisdom – Build a house (family); Gives strength; Win wars; Is a defence; Brings happiness; Lengthen ones life; Inherit glory; Is better than weapons of war; Delivers, Gives hope, etc. Please bank on wisdom today, for it will surely resolve and answer that marital crisis – divorce; financial dilemma – bankruptcy; career setback – joblessness; Business failure – closure; relationship stalemate – hopelessness and many others. God gives wisdom, ask Him today! (James 1:5-8)

John 17:3 ”And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent”

A man’s ignorance is His own mountain, but the knowledge of the truth gives dominion. Your dominion in life is a product of your knowledge – Daniel 11:32. A man’s value for knowledge determines his ultimate worth – Isaiah 33:6. Knowledge is power and dominion, while religion is imprisonment and bondage – Luke 11:52. The grace that determines our status is a function of knowledge – 2Pet. 1:2. When you run after knowledge, goodness and mercy runs after you – Prov. 1:22, 29-33. People who hate knowledge can’t secure heaven’s favour – Prov. 13:15. Age is not equal to knowledge, and should not be taken for knowledge – Job. 32:7-9. If your thoughts are not updated, your life will be outdated – Prov. 24:5. When you add a little MORE knowledge to your life daily, you live a little better – Prov. 4:18. Whatever you have no value for, you have no access to – Mark. 6:5-6. Studying for knowledge is not a transferable responsibility – 2Tim. 2:15. The only authentic proof of knowledge is freedom and liberty – John 8:32. When you don’t grow in the spirit of knowledge, you end up groaning in life – 2 Pet. 3:8. Those who seek to know men, don’t know God; when you seek to know God, people will seek to know you – Jeremiah 17:5-8; Matt. 6:24. Your knowledge of Jesus makes you absolutely sure of tomorrow – John 17:3; Isaiah 33:6.

Triumphantly Reigning In Life

- Achievers Course of Dominion -

Romans 5:17 ‘’For if by one man’s offense death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)’’

Revelation 5:9-10 ‘’And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth’’

Shalom! Kingdom greetings!! I gracefully welcome you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, praying that His grace, peace, love and mercy might take hold of you with all things under your foot according to the Holy Scriptures, amen. I hope that in this month – FEBRUARY 2009 - where many are crazy for valentine kind of love expressions, that you might find the reason to celebrate God, living triumphantly daily with all things under your control, reigning in life by Christ Jesus in the fullness of His grace towards you.

February Edition

To some the year – 2009 – is still young and tender, while some on the other hand are waiting for some special news or announcement to be made by an accorded, business tycoon, political guru, financial and economic titan, a religious magician, an absolute leader – you name it – to enable them know how to pilot their life in the dawn year.

At the moment of drafting this – February edition – the ‘World Economic Forum’ – DAVOS 2009’ was having major economic plans to shape the world economy in Switzerland. Most nations in attendance will leave that convention with an economic ideology that will formulate their national economy which invariably will have an impact on all sundry nationwide and probably in a collective sense global-wise. Based on that, business entrepreneurs, career negotiators, financial institutions, political leaders, family institutions, ordinary individuals and others will begin to chart the pathway to their wellbeing in the year. Does that relate to you today! Have you thought, that you are about to step into another month without accounting for the month just ending. It’s for this cause, that the Achievers’ FAITH Digest is being made available for your enthronement.

Inspiration, Revelation & Empowerment

Romans 1:11 ‘’For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established’’

2 Chronicle 20:20 ‘’ . . . Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper’’

Hosea 12:13 ‘’And by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved’’

Dearly beloved Achiever, I am constrained in my spirit by the reason of the grace given to me by the Lord in this edition to help awaken the consciousness of God that is already in you so that by it, you can triumphantly reign in life today. I mean the God kind of consciousness that was imparted into you spirit or subconscious-man in Faith by the reason of being born of God in Christ Jesus.

God’s intention through the ministry gifting of His called servant as indicated in the examples found in the Holy writ of Romans 1:11, 2 Chronicle 20:20 and Hosea 12:13; is that you might find reasons to live and enjoy the fullness of what Christ has done in you, for you and by identification with you.

I hereby proclaim that it’s high time God’s children woke up and fully arose to the God given mandate and consciousness for a daily inspiration, revelation and empowerment in order to triumphantly reign in life. This will enable us to deal with the daily affairs of life and also to become and achieve what you are born to be in Christ. I bare record that they are many believers in the kingdom today just going through life or merely existing that if what they holds as strength at the moment – Job, position, family, finance etc – are temporarily or permanently tempered with by any force of life, they crutch to the bottom with no inner grace to rise up again, that is if they will even remember again if there is a God in Zion.

For when you live in God’s consciousness you get inspirations, you receive revelations and empowerment to fulfil your God given duty in life as to – family, business, career, leadership and many others (name it). ‘’When you are inspired (by God’s consciousness), you will aspire and will not expire. When you live by revelation knowledge you will make wise decisions, not foolish or costly mistakes with unforgiveable, unforgettable regrets. When you are empowered by impartation of God’s grace, you will make an impact in life and live a sweat-less and stress-less lifestyle’’.

Triumphant reigning in life is the consciousness of God’s grace upon our life as a result of inspiration, revelation and empowerment we daily receive in Christ to accomplish the plans, purpose of God we seek to pursue in our life.

Triumphant Reign – Everyone and In Every Place

2 Corinthians 2:14 ‘’Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savor of his knowledge by us in every place’’

The Scriptural books of 2 Corinthians 2:14 and Romans 5:17 indicate that there is a place of triumph and a place to reign in life for every child of God irrespective of gender, race and generation. And this is a place all of us most come into: a place of full grace experience and God’s consciousness to enable us actualise our God given rights and privileges in the kingdom, as in the scriptures.

To triumph is a feeling, condition and state of great happiness as a result of being victorious, having a major achievement and success in an endeavour of life. While to Reign indicates to be and hold a position of sovereignty, dominate and being in control. The life of triumph and to reign is what Christ has done for us and in us that is why we don’t just come to give our life to Christ but to have Christ in our life. We lost our place of reign and triumphant in Adam but find it in Christ. It’s not a state of the mind but a true life reality for all God’s children born into the kingdom to fully actualise in them if they must live above the rudiments and detects of this worldly control system and lifestyle.

This is not an ‘if’ condition or a place to experience or enter when we get to heaven or in the next millennium, but a call for today, even now. We are called of God to reign in life on earth by Christ Jesus – every one that has received the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness – Romans 5:17. The Church in the wilderness (Old Testament) led by Moses was a kingdom based on condition ‘if’ before they could reign as royals – Exodus 19:5-7. Unlike Moses kind of Church, the Church of the New Testament led by Christ is not with an ‘if’ condition, but based on the done work of Christ Jesus our Lord. We are made into it. We are engrafted into it as a result of being born of God – 1 Peter 2:9, Revelation 1:5-6; 5:9-10; 1 John 5:4-5. Yours is to claim it by faith, lay hold of it and live in the consciousness, that, it does not depend on your effort but on the done work of Christ in every place of life and for all things of life.

Kinds of Life – A choice to make

Revelation 5:9-10 ‘’And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth’’

James 3:14-15 ‘’ But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from ABOVE, but is EARTHY, SENSUAL, DEVILISH. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from ABOVE is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy’’

The scriptures in Romans 5:17 and Revelation 5:9-10 indicates that we have been made (not to be made) and empowered to reign in Life. What sort of life? Besides, is that true, real or one of those Bible statements of faith – one may ask? Whatever question it is, one thing is very sure and that is, life is real and real to all man born under the sun. God wants us to reign in life, but what kind of life and how can one reign in life with all the credit crunch and world economy meltdown, stale and pains in virtually all family under the sun you may ask. It all depends by what kind of life you are living by.

There are four major ‘Greek’ translated word for ‘Life’ I want us to consider three of them, probably that will help you weigh in your spirit man – subconscious person - what kind of life you’ve been living and how to consider what is expected of you to make you reign in life in all things and over all circumstances as an achiever in Christ Jesus. I know this by reason of grace in the Lord, will help you to tend towards God and will also enable and empower you to reign in life.

· Zoe (Grk) – The God kind of life

John 10:10 ‘’The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly’’

1 John 5:11-12 ‘’And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son; He that hath the Son hath life: and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life’’

2 Corinthians 4:10-11 ‘’Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh‘’

Ecclesiastes 3:11 “He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.“

The Zoe Life – God kind of life – speaks of the nature, life and person of God - eternal life. The kind of life that God offers, embedded in us through Christ Jesus when we are born into the kingdom which will invariably affect the way we speak, what we say, how we act and how we do things, view things and conclude on things. The way we make choices and decisions in life depend on this God given kind of life if we must actual reign in life. It is the life in the realm of the Spirit – empowered Spirit of God. This is the life that you receive – eternal life – when you get born of God, it is the consciousness of what you have received and have in Christ that set a new pedestal for your lifestyle in the kingdom. This life is base on inspiration, revelation and empowerment knowledge of God.

· Psuche (Grk) – The Soulish (sense) Kind of life

Hebrews 5:14 ‘’But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil’’

Romans 12:1-2 ‘’I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God’’

Romans 8:5-9 ‘’For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his’’

The Psuche life – Soulish kind of life – is the life that is live within the five senses of man – Feeling or Touching, Taste, Hearing, Seeing and smelling. This is a kind of life based on sense knowledge which sometimes constrains us to a laboratory and scientific test and some gimmicks approval for it to be live by. This is the life that multitudes want to live on and still expect God to bless it. Hence the scriptures indicate how much we need to have our senses sensitizes by the word of God if we may find the chance of obtaining God’s will to enhance us reigning in life as in Romans12:1-2, Hebrews 5:14 and Romans 8:5-9.

The life of the senses is the life that is completely ruled by our emotions, circumstances and detects of our environment. Here carnality operates, we walk by sight as the Holy writ says and those in this realm can’t please God and can’t reign in life by God. Those who live by sense knowledge are people who live by the direction of their mind, their intellect, their emotion – the human or natural influence. God wants us to have a sanctified, transformed and renewed mind which permits His word to enable us to reign in life.

· Bioe or Bios (Grk) – The Biological kind of life

Acts 17:22-29 ‘’Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars’ hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious. For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwells not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device’’

The Bioe or Bios – Biological life – speaks of livelihood or manner of life or behaviour. There are lots of people today who by the way they live are more of just existing than having and enjoying a life at all. Their life can be equated to the life of plants, animals or other created creatures. The Bioe life is a life built on mere human existence with their sub consciousness and soul –mind, emotion etc – not being involved in making decisions in their day to day activities.

In this realm of biological kind of life, anything comes and anything goes with no value attached to it. It’s for this reason of a mere life as Bioe that makes people not to have instincts of God but seek other means of living life as in idolatry, magic, necromancy, etc since they can’t fathom God. In life, even in Church life also, people are being modelled on how to live, talk, behave, answer questions, make decisions without individual wills involvement. How can such a person reign in life? Know today that a mere ‘manner of life or behaviour of life’ doesn’t determine a man’s destiny but eternal life – God kind of life – in a person is what determines his destiny.

Redeemed – To Reign as Royal

Revelation 5:9-10 ’’And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth’’

Revelation 1:5-6 ‘’And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen’’

1 Peter 2:9-10 ’’ But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy’’

Beloved Achiever, what we lost in Adam, Christ has restored back to us in redemption. The scriptures in Revelation 5:9-10, Revelation 1:5-6 and 1 Peter 2:9-10 like many others indicates absolutely that we have been redeemed and made to reign as royals. This is not an act of revolution, it’s not refurbishment or renewal; this is REDEMPTION act of God in Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour. A complete transformation or translation as a result of what God has done in Christ (Colossians 1:13-14; Galatians 3:13-14).

The born of God believer is redeemed to reign as royal; born into the kingdom of king-hood and priesthood, crowned with royalty mandate. God’s intention is for us to reign on earth. Kings reign in authority and dominion – not as overlord on people – but over life challenges, circumstances, principalities and powers and over the domains of satan and his cohorts that intend to resist the eternal plans and purposes of God for our wellbeing and comforts. Reigning to set the captives free and all those whose lives are oppressed and in bondage not only by demons but also in their minds – ruled and controlled against their will by their thought life.

This spirit of grace given to us to reign in life is not a wishful thinking or a mere ideology but a true reality of what God has promised and has done in Christ Jesus for us to celebrate and live on in this life. If you know this and live in them in the consciousness of God’s grace and the gift of righteousness, you will be able to reign over all things that have limited you and rob you of becoming what God has made you to be – REIGN IN LIFE AS ROYAL!

When kings reign, all things are brought under control and obedience to Christ (lots to write about on reigning as royal but time and space). Its time to arise and put an end to all the fear-alleluia, poverty-alleluia, sickness-alleluia, complain-alleluia etc which some may not be saying or confessing, but may be acting out knowingly or unknowingly, thereby affecting their life goals and pursuits. You are redeemed to reign in life as royal, know it today and start to live in it now - (Hebrews 3:15).

Empowered – To Reign in Life

2 Peter 1:1-4 ‘’ . . . to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Savior Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust’.

John 1:12 ‘’But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name’’

Ephesians 1:19-22 ‘’And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all’’

The subhead scriptures above indicates that we have been empowered graciously to reign in life over all things, all flesh and circumstances that have limited us. Kingdom achievers’ are empowered by the grace of God to deal with life victoriously and triumphantly in every place – not only in some areas or places– of their life. It’s irrelevant what or how people feel or think about it, God’s word cannot be bound. It’s irrevocable and it’s authentic even as it is written in the Holy writ.

You are empowered, therefore arise, go to the mirror if you have one and speak into your being what God has made you to be and begin to reign with the God kind of life - Zoe. The scriptures indicate that we shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ - Rom. 5:17. It’s for you to take your place in Christ. It’s a choice; you are the one who determines the pace of your life and not God. You take your place and reign or merely talk it, assume it and not actualising it, letting the events of life take their course against you. This is what Adam did to let the devil take charge and we all have to pay the prize of one man not taking His place in God.

Romans 5:1-2, 17, 21 ‘’Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God . . . For if by one man’s offense death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) . . . That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord’’

2 Corinthians 5:21 ‘’For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him’’

2 Corinthians 2:14 ‘’Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savor of his knowledge by us in every place’’

In these three scriptures above, we can deduce two principal empowerments bestowed upon all who have received – born into – Christ and Christ into them to make them reign in life:

· Abundance of grace and

· Gift of righteousness

These ingredients are already en-grafted and embedded into our life when we were born of God – received Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour. God extended His life – Zoe, eternal life, the unlimited life – to our limited life so that we can live and reign in life by Christ Jesus. We lost it in Eden, we can live on it today – It is a fully paid bill by our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen. You can live guilty free and stand boldly before the lord without shame, inferiority complex or fear in your daily life schedule (Hebrew 4:14-6)

Hear this, when you make an effort to actualize in your life – Zoe and live with God consciousness in you, an ability to reign in life becomes as natural, this will enable you to dominate all that have hindered you to make all things become possible. You can then be able to reign in life:

· In genuine Love and Faith

· In revelation knowledge, understanding and wisdom

· In integrity and prudence

· In righteousness, Holiness and sanctification

· In Consecration and commitment

· In giving and receiving

· In Hope and assurance

· In Patience and temperance

· Over trials and temptations

· Over sinful living and such-like

· Over anger and bitterness

· Over the detects of satan, demonic powers and principalities

· Over unsanctified thoughts and imagination that works – in and through -our minds

· . . . and in many other kingdom life demands

Finally – Reign as the son of Man, Jesus!

Acts 2:22 ‘’Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know’’

Hebrew 5:7-10 ’’Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Called of God a high priest after the order of Melchizedek’’

Dearly Beloved Achiever, year 2009 is no longer a wish. It’s here already. God wants you to triumph and reign in life. The days of a mere wishful way of existence to deal with the affairs of life is over for all those who are born of God and want to let the word of God have a root in them. We live in challenging times and every child of God must as a matter of reality live by what they are made to be in order to authenticate their faith in God – made to be kings and priests.

You need to take your stand in Christ in that which affects and opposes your faith to enable you reign in life over that - business entrepreneurship, marital relationship, career instability, general life relationship, health, finance, just name it – that have limited you and questioned the integrity of your Faith in God.

Our Lord Jesus Christ, in the days of his life in the flesh – son of man – reigned in life by the abundance of supply of the Father towards him even as we have received. He reigned and dominated principalities and powers, overcame temptations and trials etc. He had a choice to give in or be in charge and in control and He chose to reign that He might give us an assurance of hope and to let us know that it’s all possible again to reign in life on earth until He comes to have us home – in Heaven. For as a son of man He reigns:

* Over all flesh – John 17:1-2

*Over Temptations and trials – Matthew 4:1- 11; Luke 4:1-13; John 14:30

* Over all things – Philippians 2:21-22; John 14:30

* Over principalities and powers – Ephesians 1:20-22; John 14:30

* Over the detects of hell and death – Rev. 1:18-19; Heb. 2:14-15

* With all authority and powers – Matt. 28:18

* . . . And many over’s as in the Holy writ. (John 21:25; 2John 12; 3 John 13)

Let’s arise, put an end to living in our own strength and skills and on life that is based on our intellect. Let’s begin to live life to the full, taking charge and reigning in life as a triumphant, victorious and more than a conqueror people of God and not as cowards (not spoken but acted). Human life is limited, is more than a mere accumulation of wealth or being physically strong. You can’t measure God’s endowment with physical prosperity. Let’s begin to exercise ourselves unto a Zoe kind of life and we shall live well on this side of heaven and here after.

Luke 12:15 ‘’And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth’’

1 Timothy 4:7-8 ‘’But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come’’

I sincerely pray for you that in this month, God will awaken you by this FEBRUARY EDITION of the Achievers’ FAITH Digest so that you can begin to reign in life in full. Your prosperity is very certain and is today, this day; this month can be the beginning of the beginning. Desiring for you, God’s grace and abundant blessings in all you do, amen.
