Prayer School

Prayer is:

  • The believers’ life blood.
  • The believers’ inescapable duty in Christ.
  • The act of connecting and communing with God.
  • The believers’ avenue of responsibility to escape from a fainting and weary heart.
  • The believers privilege to end all troubles, get things done and have needs met.
  • The believers’ avenue of exercising authority and dominion over satan and his cohorts.
  • The Believers’ in Christ key to access and grasp eternity.

No man is greater than his prayer life:

  • The Christian who is not praying is playing.
  • The pulpit can be a shop window to display ones talents while the prayer closet allows no showing off.
  • There are many organisers but few agonisers.
  • Many players and payers, few prayers.
  • Many singers, few clingers.
  • A lot of pastors, few wrestlers and labourers.
  • Many fears, few tears.
  • Much fashion, little passion.
  • Many interferers, few intercessors.
  • Many writers, few fighters.

When we fail to pray, we fail everywhere.

One of the great privileges of the Christian faith is that we serve a God who takes great delight in hearing prayers and longs to answer them.

Psalm 65:2 “O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come”.

Jeremiah 33:3 “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not”.

Psalm 91:15 “He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him”.

The 42nd Generation Foundation International Prayer School is an avenue of raising a people with a burden and with much compassion to pray. And in praying to see the needs of people and God’s purposes in Christ Jesus accomplished in mankind.

Hebrews 5:5-10 “So also Christ glorified not himself to be made a high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, today have I begotten thee. As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Called of God a high priest after the order of Melchizedek”.

The 42nd Generation Foundation concept of prayer school is born out of the above scripture. If our Lord Jesus sees the need to pray, to enable Him to live a fulfilled life on earth, pleasing to God – why then must we not make prayer a priority.

In the prayer school, there is:

  • The teaching on prayers
  • Diverse issues concerning prayers
  • Practical know-how ways to pray and
  • more prayers! much prayers!! graceful prayers!!!

In any case, it’s purely a strong school governed by the leadership and instruction of the Holy Spirit. It’s a Holy Spirit School of Prayers. It is built on principles laid up in the Bible, not a dogmatic and methodical scheme.

Many know what to pray for but how to pray is where the problem lies. The grace to appropriate into reality comes by the act of knowing the HOW to pray, hence the prayer school.

What the Prayer School Covers:

The Prayer school affects and covers a long range of applications including but not limited to:

  • The Church leaders & members.
  • Evangelism & Mission Outreaches.
  • Unity within & without the Church.
  • Government: Head/Leaders, Ministers and various governmental departments.
  • Corporate organisations, entrepreneurs and diverse business community
  • Communities, towns & cities.
  • Social, Economic and Moral issues
  • Families: Married, single family
  • Young people
  • Nations
  • Global salvation

Finally, 42nd Generation Foundation Prayer School is aimed at empowering you with these mandates:

  • Ministering in prayer as a priest representing man to God.
  • Ministering in prayer as a prophet representing God to man.
  • Ministering in prayer as king, ruling and reigning with Christ over the devil and cohorts as God impart His authority and power to function.

Acts 6:4 “But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word”.

Acts 6:7 “And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith”.

The scriptures above let us know that if we want a strong church that will make a great nation, we must make prayer a matter of priority. We must make prayer a priority to avail the privilege given to us to approach God’s presence in the scriptures to enable us to see our needs met.

Hebrews 4:14-16 “Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need”.

2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land”.

Psalms 34:15 “The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry”.

Psalms 34:17 “The righteous cry, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles”.

This scriptural prayer school will enhance your life for God’s presence and ensure that you enjoy always being with God. It will take off fear to pray, the laziness to pray and the ignorance about prayer. Be blessed as you join this great army of God
