The Bible
The Bible is the harmonious and beautifully constructed Word of God. It’s known to be Blessed Information Bringing Life Eternal. It’s a fortress often attacked but never failing. Its wisdom is commanding and its logic convincing.
Salvation is its watchword, eternal life it’s goal and it punctures all pretence. Trust it, love it and obey it for redemption and eternal life will be yours.
John 1:1-5 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not”.
John 6:63 “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life”.
2 Tim 2:15 “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth”.
2 Tim 3:16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”
James 1:22-25 “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholds himself, and goes his way, and straightway forgets what manner of man he was. But whoso looks into the perfect law of liberty, and continues therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed”.
God’s Messenger
Every messenger of God is a carrier of a message either to a people or a generation. If you are not experiencing growth, you may be carrying someone else’s message. God will only confirm His message on the true messenger. Are you unique or are you on someone else’s platform. Watch it!
Isaiah 44:24-26 “Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that makes all things; that stretches forth the heavens alone; that spreads abroad the earth by myself;
That frustrates the tokens of the liars, and makes diviners mad; that turns wise men backward, and makes their knowledge foolish;
That confirms the word of his servant, and performs the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shall be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:”
Prov 13:17 “A wicked messenger falls into mischief: but a faithful ambassador is health.”
You can only live by the fruit (the message) of your mouth. What is YOUR message? God given or ‘copy-cat’?
Prov 18:20-21 “A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”
Prov 13:2 “A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth: but the soul of the transgressors shall eat violence”.
Prov 11:30 “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that wins souls is wise.”
A Fresh Anointing
Having a fresh anointing is a pre-requisite to living a fulfilled Christian life. For where there is no anointing, there should be no ministry or any kingdom business. The level of refreshing determines the extent of our fruitfulness.
Psalm 104:15 “And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man’s heart”
Psalm 92:10-15 “But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of a unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil. Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me. The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; To show that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.”
John 15:16 “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained (anointed) you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you”.
Dominion
- Genesis 1:26-28
- Romans 6:14
- 1 John 5:4-5
Overcomers’ Faith
- 1 John 5:4
- Hebrews 11:6
- 1 Peter 5:8-10
God is good, devil is evil.
When you add the letter ‘O’ to God, you have GOOD because God is a God of addition.
Matt 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.;
John 10:10b“. . . I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
When you remove the letter ‘D’ from devil, you have EVIL, because his deeds are always evil and with evil intentions.
1John 3:8 “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil”.
Gal 1:3-4 “ Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
John 10:10a “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:”
Faith It, Don’t Fake It!!!
You don’t have to fake it till you make it – you only have to ACT steadfast in faith until it comes to pass. Faith is acting on the Word of God and not faking on God’s Word.
Luke 5:5-6“And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. And when they had this done, they enclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net broke“.
Hebrews 11:1,11 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”. vs 11. Through faith also Sarah herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised”.
Mark 11:22-24 “And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Achieving Life Successes through Faithfulness
Luke 18:1-8 “. . . And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?”
Luke 16:1-13 “. . . He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own? No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon”.
As we turn into the eighth month of the year, I call to remembrance that God made all things in six days – on the seventh – He rested and on the eighth day, the empowered man with dominion mandate began to function in achieving the reason for His creation.
Today we live in an age where faithfulness to ourselves and to others is in great demand for creating an atmosphere that we can enjoy. Unfortunately we are so eager to demand faithfulness from others while we may not be faithful ourselves even in the least of things.
Hence I am grateful to the Holy Spirit that this month He has constrained me to challenge us on the need of achieving life goals through faithfulness. Hence the reason to set tasks and targets for oneself in making it be.
We need to know that our God is a faithful God. This is just one basic nature of God – FAITHFULNESS. We being His children cannot afford to live in any other way and expect to achieve greatness in life.
The Results of Being Faithful
Great admirable marriages, homes & businesses are not achieved merely from structural design but from faithful human hearts. The results of being faithful are the prosperity and good success that we all desire. When we make faithfulness an avenue of achieving life’s goals, we promote honesty, decency and healthy lifestyles.
In the scripture quoted at the beginning, Luke 18:7-8, Jesus asked a question about faithfulness. The word FAITH is translated ‘pistil’ in Greek, which denotes faithfulness in English. Jesus wondered how many would be faithful – to trust God and wait upon His Word – without seeking alternative solutions to life’s challenges. The 2nd main text, Luke 16:1-13, shows the reason that many of us cannot achieve our goals. It is because we are not faithful in matters entrusted into our hands by others.
God’s Faithful Nature
In achieving life’s goals, it would be great for you to look at the nature of God regarding faithfulness.
- God is faithful to Himself. 2Tim 2:13
- God is faithful to His Word and promises. Heb 10:23
- God is faithful to His relationship. 1 Corinth 1:9
- God is faithful to forgive. 1 John 1:9
- God is faithful in agreement. Deut 7:9
- God is faithful to establish and deliver. 1 Cor 10:13, 2 Thess 3:3
- God is faithful to accomplish His part in the assignment that he gives to us. 1 Thess 5:24
- God is a faithful creator. 1 Peter 4 4:19 . . . and many more of our God.
Know full well that we are the offspring of God, the sheep of His pasture. Acts 17:28-29, Psalms 100:3. It then means that we can live a faithful life and achieve good successes. The other reason that we can achieve success is because we are the seed of Abraham – who was faithful and prospered. The same grace is available to us today in spite of our challenges to be faithful and to prosper. Galatians 3:6-9, 13-14, 26-29. (See Genesis 13:2, 24:1)
Faithfulness Applied
- A faithful employee – Whatever position you hold, God requires you to be faithful. Matt 24:45-51, Ephesians 6:5-8, 1 Peter 2;18-20, Col 3:22-25
- A faithful employer – look after your staff well whatever the business. Ephesians 6:6-9, Col 4:1, Prov 11:24-26, Deut 10:17-18, Acts 10:34-35, Romans 2:11
- Faithful in your relationships. This is a vital ingredient in enhancing a healthy society.
- Faithfulness in the kingdom business. As a minister, pastor, ministry worker etc, you cannot afford to attend to ministry work in the way that pleases you and at the same time want God’s backing. No adulterations of any sort will make God be a part of it. Faithfulness to God’s Word and commands is a prerequisite to achieving desired goals. 1 Cor 4:2, 2 Tim 2:1-2, Prov 27:23, John 21:15-17 (Numbers 12:7, Heb 3:2,5.)
- In marriage one cannot afford to be unfaithful and achieve with God. (1 Tim 3:11, Prov 31:10, Prov 20:6, Eph 5:21-33, 1 Peter 3:1-12).
- Faithfulness is also vital in a parent – child relationship. Eph 6:1-4, Col 3:20-21, Prov 22:6
- Faithfulness in friendships. Prov 27:6,10, Prov 17:17, Prov 18:24
Faithfulness Rewards
- Abound with blessings. Prov 28:20
- Abound with health. Prov 13:17, 2 Cor 5:20
- A refresher for others. Prov 25:13
- There will be increase and promotion. Matt 25:21,23
- There will be eternal reward. Matt 25:21b, 23b
Finally, as one with an achievers’ mandate, I beckon on you to set task and target this month on how to walk in faithfulness if you want to partner with God. I pray you be found faithful in every area of your life through this month and thereafter.

Being at Wrath? – It Hinders God’s Will
WRATH! the senior cousin of anger (I call it), does not promote life but endangers God’s will and purposes in our life – So, be very much alert to Watch it before it gets hold on you, robbing you of God’s plan, purpose and pursuit for your good.
James 1:19-20“Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God”.
Romans 14:17 “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost“.
Romans 12:1-2“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.“
Romans 12:17-21“Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.”
