MAXIMIZE THE NAME OF JESUS

“A profound month to influence our world with God’s Love”

Matt. 1:21 ‘’ And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall SAVE his people from their sins’’

Phil. 2:9-11 ‘’Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:  That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father’’.

We live today in the time of life that every discovery of man, economic empowering of man etc has not given us absolute PEACE but has led humanity into more trauma. Today, there are wars in our streets, uncertainties in our nations, political and economic instability, family breakdowns, relationship/marital unfaithfulness and decadence, business and career setbacks etc; you can name thousands of events happening around you today. Our world is in a great thirst and hunger, seeking for who will quench her yearnings and desires as the scriptures clearly states:

Rom. 8:19 ‘’For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

Matt. 5:6 ‘’Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled’’

Haggai 2:6-9 ‘’For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;  And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts. The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts. The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts’.

Psalm 24:1-2 ‘’ The earth is the LORD’s, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.  For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods’’

The Apostles in their days did not have the kind of political and economic power nor the technology in every field of human life as we have today, but they had the ‘Name of Jesus’ filled with God’s love, empowered by the Holy Spirit to give LOVE, HOPE and FAITH to their world (Family, Relationship, Neighbourhood, Business etc) as in:

Acts 3:1-10 ‘’Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.  And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God: And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him. And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering. And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye  men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk? The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go. But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;  And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses. And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all’’.

Knowing full well that for this CAUSE Christ was BORN (Jn. 18:37; 3:16)

Jn 18:37: ‘’Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice’’.

Jn 3:16: ‘’ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life’’.

We, who by virtues of what Christ have done in us, are to extend His love to our world in this season of commemorating and celebrating the love of God. Knowing full well that for this His CAUSE we are SAVED to give God’s kind of Love to our world:

1Jn. 4:7-21 ‘’Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.  In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love him, because he first loved us. If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

As we commemorate and celebrate the birth of Christ this month of Christmas, may we not be just occupied by the buying of mere gifts to give out for this season but to acknowledge the Christ of Christ – mass, that is, Why He Came or was born and what His BEGOTTEN BIRTH has done for us to give to OUR WORLD such as these:

  • God’s Love/Peace: (John 3:16-17; 15:13; Eph. 2:14, John 17:3; 14:1-11; Matt. 11:25-27)
  • Destroy the works of Satan: (Acts 10:38, 1 John 3:8-9, John 10:10);
  • Salvation from sin: (Matt. 1:21; Rom. 5:1-2; Acts 3:26; Luke 19:10; Acts 4:12; 1 Tim 1:15; 2:5; Isaiah 53:5-10);
  • Reconcile us to God: (2Cor. 5:17-21; Eph. 2:1-22);
  • Have an overflowing (abundant) life: (John 10:10b; Jeremiah. 23:5-6; Acts 13:38-39; Rom. 10:1-4; 1 Corinthians 1:30, John 11;25-26; 1 John 5;11-12);
  • Healing/Health: (Matt. 8:16-17; 3 John 2; Isaiah 53:4-5; 1Pet. 2:24; Matt. 8:16-17);
  • Freedom: (Luke. 1:68-75; 4:18-19; Heb. 2:14-15);
  • Deliverance: (Colossians. 1:13-14; Luke 1:74-75);
  • Prosperity: (John 10:10; 2 Corinthians 8:9)
  • . . . And many much more (John 21:25; 20:30-31)

As we commemorate and celebrate, be kind to decide today by the help of the Holy Spirit to demonstrate God’s love to your world especially in your Family. For a great Family makes a great Church and it’s a great Church that makes a great Nation. May the good Lord unfold His grace and abundance to you through this month of December.

Have a LOVING CHRISTMAS with God’s Blessings.

EXPERIENCE DIVINE FAVOUR IN YOUR DAILY LIFE

“A lovely month of  God’s remarkable Favour’’.

Act 10:34-35 ‘’Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

We serve a God who does not take sides, does not have favourites, is not partial depending on ones colour, career, age or looks. In every nation, God’s grace, the unmerited favour of God towards us is the same. Society may discriminate, show racism, treat you as second class, but God will never do that. Hence in

1Samuel 2:7-8 ‘’The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up. He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD’s, and he hath set the world upon them’’.

God raises those that are low in life to the place where they can inherit His glory, because what makes a pillar of strength and hope on earth belongs to Him. This do indicate how much you are in God’s plans, purposes and pursuit for complete redemption experience in you total life.

When you walk in God’s will for your life – which is in his word– favour becomes your daily name. That is what God means in Acts 10:34-35 mentioned earlier, also here in

Romans 9:14-15 ‘’What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion’’.

No matter how much you’ve toiled and maybe at the edge of giving up – DON’T. For there’s hope in the midst of any turmoil of life under the sun.

Luke 5:1-9 ‘’And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret, And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets. And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship. Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. And when they had this done, they enclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net broke. And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord. For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken’’.

If you can take another step of faith as shown in the above scriptures just as Peter did, that can end all the years of misery, lamentations, fears and trauma. Know at this moment that you may be at the point of favour, breakthrough and breaking forth into that heart’s yearning which could be about family breakdown, marital crises, financial instability, emotional and spiritual insecurity, career or business uncertainties. God wants you to know that He is mindful of you, loves you and cares about ALL that concerns you and you can raise you head up and enjoy His favour in all you intend to achieve in life because of what Christ has done.

Psalms 115:12-15 ‘’The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron. He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great. The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children. Ye are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth’’.

God is present where you are to favour you, hence this month, speak, act, walk, think and meditate FAVOUR as your new name as in

Philippians 4:8 ‘’Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things’’.

As Jesus increase in FAVOUR with God and Man as in

Luke 2:52 ‘’And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in FAVOUR with God and man’’.

So I pray that this month your increase in Favour will have no end and that God meet you at the point of your very need and grant your hearts yearnings as you trust Him, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

DON’T GIVE UP, There’s a miracle for you! Be blessed and highly favoured.

OCTOBER 2007

A month of ENDORSING & TRIUMPHING in FAITH by ‘’The BLOOD & Word of our TESTIMONY’’

Rev. 12:10-11 ‘’And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death’’.

What a month to be reminded and challenged of the awesomeness of the precious Blood of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Our Faith in what Christ has done is crucial. We need to demonstrate and proclaim our faith in our daily living for our breakthroughs. Being raised up traditionally in an environment where the blood spill of animals for sacrifice was a life style, until Salvation came to my family, I can tell you how powerful the matter of the blood means to life. All sorts of covenants and contracts have to be endorsed by blood.  For life is in the blood. It signifies how authentic the issue in question may be. The above scriptures indicate to us how strongly Satan and his cohorts were totally smashed and rendered powerless through the efficacy of the blood of Christ and the Word of their testimony. They testified of what Christ had done to guarantee eternal victory and triumph.

The precious blood of Jesus is authentic, powerful and with great significance considering its ability, in light of the following:

  • The Redeeming Ability: 1Peter 1:18-21 ‘’ Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God’’; Acts 20:28 ‘’ Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood’’.

  • The Reconciliatory Ability: Ephesians 2:11-19 ‘’Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God’’.

  • The Emboldening Ability. Hebrews 10:19-20 ‘’ Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh’’ Hebrews 4:14-16 ‘’ Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need’’.

  • The Cleansing Ability. 1John 1:7-10 ‘’ But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us’’ Luke 15:20 ‘’And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him’’

  • The Pacifying Ability. Romans 3:23-26 ‘For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus’’; James 2:10 ‘’For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all’’

  • The Overcoming Ability. Revelations 12:11 ‘’And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death’’

  • The Inspiring Ability. Revelations 5:9 ‘’And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation’’

In life we are constantly contending for our FAITH with the enemy of our Faith – Satan – in pursuit of our God-given dreams and aspirations. 1 Peter 5:8 ‘’Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world’’;

1 Timothy 1:18-19 ‘’This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare; Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck’’; 1Timothy 6:12 ‘’Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses’’; 2Corinthians 10:3-6 ‘’For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled’’.

Our Lord Jesus indicates also that there are problems in this life but we should be of good cheer because He has overcome them on our behalf. John 16:33 ‘’ . . .these things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world’’; Galatians 1:3-4 ‘’Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father’’; 1Corinthians 15:55-57 ‘’O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ’’; Hebrews 2:14-15 ‘’Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage’’.

Unfortunately, many of us go through lots of challenges and problems of all sorts which affect our wellbeing: spiritual, marriage, emotional, physical, financial, moral and mental health. Our God wants us to live a triumphant life in every situation from the POSITION of what Christ has DONE in and for us. 2Corinthians 2:14 ‘’Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savor of his knowledge by us in every place’’; Ephesians 2:6 ‘’And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus’’.

Know that the heroes of Faith in the Bible book of Hebrews 11, all overcame by their faith testimony on the precious blood of Christ before the foundations of the World. Revelation 13:8b ‘’ And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world’’.

How then can we overcome in Life: 1 Peter 5:7-10; 1 John 5:4-5, Philemon 6

  • By casting all our cares and worries on God.
  • By acknowledging there is an enemy working against our Faith
  • By acknowledging our victory in what Christ is done in and for us. By taking a steadfast resistance in Faith testimony and on the Blood of Jesus
  • By giving  thanks to God for all things.

This is your month to daily eliminate the enemy of your joy and testimony in Christ.

Praying for you to OVERCOME, TRIUMPH and to BECOME what you are made to be.

Every Blessing . . . Be yours!

Declaring ‘’God’s Purposes for Your Life into Reality’’

A Month of Speaking

Romans 10:6-13 ‘’But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved’’

As a lion gives birth to a lion and a mango tree produces mangoes – God gives birth to gods, in His image and not that of apes.

Genesis 1:3-4; 26-31 ‘‘ . . . And God said, . . . And God saw . . . And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day’’

John 10:27-38 ‘’My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one. Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I showed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the Scripture cannot be broken; Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him’’

Psalms 82:6 ’’I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High’’

1John 4:17 ”Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world”.

Our enemy, the devil and his demons, know this too well. Genesis 3:4-5 ‘’And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil’’

If you POSITION yourself where God has made you SIT with Christ in the heavenly places, then you can no longer speak in human wisdom, ideas or philosophy to overcome the enemy of your faith.

Ephesians 2:4-7 ‘’But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, by (grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus’’

Ephesians 1:19-23 ‘’And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all’’.

1 Corinthians 2:1-8 ‘’And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to naught: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory’’.

Managing Directors do not speak as their employees do or Doctors as their patients – likewise we as Ambassadors of God cannot and should not speak as the world speaks. 2 Corinthians 5:17-21 ‘’Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us; we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him’’; Prov. 13:17b ‘’. . . a faithful ambassador is health’’. We cannot mount up wings as eagles and flap around like chickens. We are either at freedom by the Word of God or enslaved by our own words and taken captive by the world system. Proverbs 6:2 ‘’Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth’’; Proverbs 16:24 ‘’ Pleasant words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones’’; Proverbs 18:20-21 ’’A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof’’.

Except when God created man, everything else that He created, He first SAID . . . then He SAW it come to fruition. In the same manner, Jesus wants us to respond to issues in life. Mark 11: 20-24 ‘’And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.

And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them ’’.

What are you saying today about yourself and about Gods’ purposes in your life? In your daily life do you react according to the way that you feel about your circumstances or do you respond according to what the Word of God says about those challenges and situations. Know full well that it is what you speak that the divinely assigned angels respond to – be it good or bad. Hebrews 1:7,14 ‘’ And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?’’; Psalms103:20 ‘’Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word’’; Matthew 18:18-20 ‘’Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them’’.

AUGUST 2007

An Awesome Month of: ADDING TO YOUR FAITH in Christ JESUS in achieving your desired goals in life.

2 Peter 1:1-11

1. Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like PRECIOUS FAITH with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

2. Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

3. According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

4. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

5. And beside this, giving all diligence, ADD to your FAITH virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

6. And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

7. And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

8. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

9. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

10. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

11. For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

The above scriptures highlight some spiritual additives. These spiritual additives in verses 5 – 7 i.e. virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness and charity, are vital in our faith in Christ Jesus in order to partake fully in the blessings of verses 1 – 4 and 8 – 11. As Achievers with a great destiny in and ahead of us, we cannot afford to be lukewarm in our faith walk in an ungodly, unbelieving and spiritually decaying world as the Laodicea’s did.

Revelations 3:14-19  And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

15. I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

16. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, Iwill spew thee out of my mouth.

17. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

18. I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eye salve, that thou mayest see.

19. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

The scriptures say that Jesus came to deliver us from the evil of this world.

Galatians 1:3-4 Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,

Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

Luke 1:68-75 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,

And hath raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;

As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began:

That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;

To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;

The oath which he swore to our father Abraham,

That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,

In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

Colossians 1:13 ‘’Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son’’

Hebrews 2:14-15 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

 This is a done work but we need to enact our faith with some spiritual principles that enhance our faith in order to achieve our desires in life.

Therefore arise and ADD to your FAITH these spiritual additives to enable you to avert avenues of spiritual barrenness, blindness etc, that hinder one from achieving goals in the knowledge of Gods’ Word for ones blessings. It is when man sleeps spiritually that the enemy of our faith comes in to sow tares, leaving one spiritually blind and ignorant to ones position, rights and privileges in Jesus Christ.

Matthew 13:24-30, Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:

25. But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

26. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

27. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

28. He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

29. But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.

30. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

 Proverbs 13:15 Good understanding gives favour: but the way of transgressors is hard.

Its time to make our calling in Christ Jesus sure, in order to enable our access into the abundance of the Kingdom of God and the promises in:

 2 Pet. 1:1-4 ‘’Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like PRECIOUS FAITH with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,  According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust’’

and

 2 Pet. 1: 8-11 ‘’For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.  But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:  For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ’’

This is your month to reign form your POSITION in Christ Jesus and not from your CONDITION.

Be Augustly Blessed!

THE CELEBRATION OF OUR JUSTIFICATION IN CHRIST JESUS

 Romans 5:1-2‘’Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God’’

 Luke 15:3-32 ‘’ Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him. And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them. And he spake this parable unto them, saying, What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbors, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it? And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbors together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost. Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. And he said, A certain man had two sons: And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living. And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want. And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him. Andwhen he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry. Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard music and dancing. And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant. And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound. And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and entreated him. And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends: But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf. And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine. It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found’’

Its time to raise your head and shoulders, chest out and walk through life in freedom without fear or intimidation because of what Christ has done in you – JUSTIFICATION. Whether you realise this truth or not – when you are born again, you are justified in Christ Jesus our Lord through faith that brought our salvation. To be justified in Christ Jesus is to be declared guiltless. As one who did not commit that which he is accused of committing!  Why celebrate. . . Because there is joy in heaven for your justification in the Lord. (Luke 15:7, 10, 22-32; Romans 5:1-2). It is time to reign in life from our POSITION of JUSTIFICATION in Christ Jesus and not from our CONDITION. Hence you must live your life without fear, guilt, inferiority or intimidation.

 2Timothy 1:7 ‘’For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind ’’

 Luke1:74-75 ‘’That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life’’.

 Hebrews 2:14-15 ‘’Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage’’

Your circumstances or condition will not only fail, intimidate and limit you with time – but also rob you of reigning, triumphing and overcoming in life. Our situations will cripple our peace in the long run, no matter how glorious they are today. Hence as achievers in Christ Jesus we must live in a new consciousness by the reasons of what Christ has done in us. The consciousness of the one that God has justified. Live in the fullness of the freedom that God offers in His Kingdom.

 2Corinthians 2:14 ‘’ . . . thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savor of his knowledge by us in every place’’

 1Corinthians 15:57‘’ . . . thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ’’

 Romans 8:37 ‘‘. . . we are more than conquerors through him that loved us’’

For this knowledge, wise men like King David, with all his achievements, continually maintained a joyous celebration, declaring the Lord as his shepherd and source of total wellbeing. That is, doing life and exhibiting a life style of JUSTIFICATION from his Position in the Lord.

 Psalm 23 ‘’A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever’’

 Let us celebrate, invite a friend or family this month to your home and have a joyous occasion.  It is worth more than anything material. There is nothing that can compare with a lifestyle filled with joyous celebration through and through.

‘’BEING JOYFUL IN THE MIDST OF LIFE CHALLENGES’’

 Habakkuk 3:17-19 ‘’Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labor of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.  The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. . .’’

 The good Lord inspires me to remind you to go all the way REJOICING, being JOYFUL in the midst of all tears or trials of your FAITH.

James 1:2-4‘’ My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing’’.

For what you may be going through in life at this moment is the enemy at work to challenge your faith in God, and you must RESIST steadfastly in FAITH.

1 Pet. 5:7-11 ‘’Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen’’.

The Lord wants you to REJOICE, no matter the physical exhaustion or ailment, marital breakdown, spiritual instability, emotional trauma, business or career setbacks, financial mishaps and relationship friction or disappointment. Why? For it’s the DAWN of your new day says the Lord almighty. Hence in Habakkuk 3:17-19 the scriptures enjoins us on what to do in the event that life didn’t turn out as we desire it to be:

  • Fig tree did not blossom
  • No fruit on the vines
  • The labour of the olive fail
  • Fields yield no food
  • Flock cut off from the fold
  • No herd in the stalls
  • Still REJOICE and be JOYFUL in the LORD of our SALVATION and TESTIFY of His WONDERS, even in the midst of your situation. There’s a MIRACLE awaiting you!

I prophesy to you and your situation that Joy is come and is welling. And all you need to do is to draw from it now to enhance you in achieving your next desired goal just as the following scriptures indicates:

Psalm 16:11 ‘’Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore’’.

Psalm 30:4-5 ‘’Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favor is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning’’.

Psalm 126:5-6 ‘’They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him’’.

Psalm 36:8-9 ‘’They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light’’.

John 4:13-14 ‘’Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life’’.

John 7:37-39 ‘’In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the Scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified’’.

 For it’s the amount of JOY you enjoy in the Lord that indicates your strength as a child of God.

Nehemiah 8:10‘’ Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength’’.

 Prosperity is great but LIFE is not in POSSESSIONS.

3 John 2‘’Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth’’

Luke 12:15 ‘’And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth’’.

The Lord has promised to REJOICE over you and make His grace yours as in:

Zephaniah 3:17 ‘’ The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing’’ and Isaiah 61:1-3 ‘’ The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified’’.

For this is the month God has made that you might REJOICE and be GLAD in it.

Psalm 118:24 ‘’This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it’’.

 Beloved, I pray that this day in this month that the Lord be your strength, give you a deer’s feet and make you walk on high hills over your tears with His unspeakable JOY as in:

Habakkuk 3:19 ‘’The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. . .’’;  I Peter 1:8‘’Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory’’.

Be Amazingly Blessed, ever JOYFUL, rejoicing in the Hope of our salvation!

A month to “Maximize Time and Opportunity’’ towards the cause wherein you are born

Ecclesiastes 9: 11-12 ‘’ Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them’’

Ecclesiastes 3:1 ‘’ To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven’’

Ecclesiastes 8:5 ‘’Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man’s heart discerneth both time and judgment’’

Time and Opportunity are God given gifts to man and must be wisely utilised to enhance us in achieving our life goals and aspirations. Like everyone under the sun, you have equal year, month, week, day, hour, minute and second. What you do by the given time and opportunity (chance) that comes your way, makes you become much more towards Gods given cause for your life. Although you are of God, born of the spirit to – Reign in life, Live in victory, Triumph, Succeed, be a Winner and more than a Conqueror – in all battles of life, yet there are many victims, wandering and wondering Believers’ today in that they have not applied wisdom to time and opportunity that comes their way. May I remind you that:

  • Time is God’s given gift to man
  • You cannot save time
  • You cannot collect time
  • You cannot bank time
  • You are only committed to use time wisely, otherwise foolishly
  • You must do something with time
  • You can either invest time or waste it
  • Your daily agenda (routine) is your life.
  • Time is your life, you can make it happen positively to achieve your desired goals.

I John 5: 1-5 ‘’ Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?’’

1John 4: 4, 6 ‘’ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error’’

2 Corinthians 2: 14 ‘’Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savor of his knowledge by us in every place’’

Why are they many believers wandering and wondering today? First many do not know their CAUSE of being born of God, while some who do know their CAUSE, have no definite understanding in the fullness of it, hence the lack of Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding has made them become a prey to the enemy.

Hosea 4:6 ‘’My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children’’

Isaiah 5:13-15 ‘’ Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honorable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst. Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it. And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled’’

Proverbs 4:5, 7 ‘’A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction’’.

Ephesians 5: 13 -17 ‘’But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is’’.

I Chronicle 12: 32 ‘’And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment’’.

Colossians 4: 5 ‘’Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time’’

Psalm 90: 12 ‘’So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom’’

In the Bible days as in Numbers, there is divine grace to meet people at the time of their life. The victory that overcomes the world – Our Faith (I John 5: 4) has a time limit to rule and reign. Therefore for time to be effective, we need to redeem our time. Examples:

  • At 30 years Joseph ruled and reign (Genesis 41: 46, Psalm 105: 17- 22)
  • At 30 years David ruled and reign (2 Samuel 5: 4)
  • At 30 years Jesus began His Ministry (Luke 3: 23)

At 20 years of age you would go to war (Numbers 1: 3, 18, 22, 24, 26), while at 30 years (Numbers 4: 3-23) you are destined to begin a new phase of your purpose on earth. This is how it was in the Bible days – The shadow Church in the wilderness on Redemption process.

TIME TO AWAKE FROM SLEEP

Romans 13:11 ‘’And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed’’

Ephesians 5:4 ‘’Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light’’

It’s time to awaken from sleep and get challenged to redeem and maximise your time and take every chance to make you become what God has destined for you. Salvation is free but the Crown – ruling and reigning in life is time tagged, if it costs – its price tagged. This is why the world says, Time is Money, ‘no pain no gain’.

Hebrews 5:5-10 ‘’ So also Christ glorified not himself to be made a high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, today have I begotten thee. As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Called of God a high priest after the order of Melchizedek’’.

For this Cause, I challenge that this month you take time to know and understand the cause for which you are born into the Kingdom. Furthermore with your heart of wisdom, you can maximise your time, take every chance of all God given opportunity to live your life in full as a victor and not as a victim. Understanding time will restore lost years in life. Knowing full well how valuable time and opportunity are vital to our walk in life, it’s wise to develop strategies to redeem, buy back out time and plan to enhance the future (Ephesians 5: 13-16, Colossians 4:5). This is what David earnestly prayed for (Psalm 90: 12, 39: 4, 119: 84)

We can’t be complacent in our time and opportunities as we can see in the main text that life depends on it. Success is based on it. Having skills is not enough. Its time to maximise time and opportunities, for the days are evil and great wisdom is required to deal with it (Luke 2: 15-21; Mark 8: 36; Psalm 90: 12; Psalm 39: 4)

Likely Areas to Maximise your Time and Opportunities:

  • Spend quality and quantity time to build a personal relationship and fellowship with God. (Psalm 16: 11, 84: 1-12). Know God for yourself, through studying His Word and Prayers. Maximise the time and chances when you have them so that when you don’t have it due to circumstances you know you have saved that day or season of life until you return and come back to it again.
  • Spend quality and quantity time with your family. Maximise every single period to do something profitable with your family. It is such time family destinies are founded, moulded and evolved to generations born and unborn. We can’t just manage it we need to create and maximise time and opportunity for it. Don’t be too busy or pre occupied not to have time for your family. (Ephesians 5: 25-27, 6: 1-4).
  • Maximise every given time and opportunity to make a difference in your place of work – one of the means where the daily bread comes to life obligations- its relevant whether you like it or not. Never take it for granted. You may be there for only a short while but it can be the spring board to the fullness of your great desires and achievable heartfelt goals and aspirations. Read Joseph from rags to riches (Genesis 34: 26, 39: 1-6, 20-23, 41: 1, 9, 12-16, 37-44, Isaiah 2: 6-10, (Ephesians 6: 5-6/Colossians 3: 22-25, 4: 1).
  • Maximise every time and opportunity to keep a healthy friendship and relationship as you start to take a walk of life daily. A healthy friendship is not CHEAP. Most of the blessings that God will bring you in your way of life will be through people that you meet in life more especially friends. Hence being friendly to keep a healthy relationship and fellowship is wisdom. (John 11: 1-11, 17, 23-26, 39-45, Proverbs 17: 17, 18: 24, 27: 10, James 2: 23).

If we must achieve goals and make great changes or differences in our generations, we must value time and take our chances in life. In the book of – Numbers 1: 3, 18, 24, 26 and Psalm 90: 12 – we can foresee the power and effect of time in people’s life and generation destiny.

I challenge you this month and pray also that the good Lord grant you entrance to maximise your time and opportunity for your triumph and testimony depends on them.

Dare to be diligent . . . dare to value time and opportunity . . . overflowing life will be yours

COVENANT ACTS OF REDEMPTION

A commemoration Month of celebrating our REDEMPTION from sin:

“Sickness, Poverty and Spiritual Death”

Rev. 5: 9 – 12 ‘’And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to RECEIVE power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing’’.

No matter our circumstances today, the fact and the truth remains that Jesus had paid for our SIN and liberated us from SIN and its Effect – Sickness, Poverty and Spiritual death. You can walk with your head up, for you are no longer a captive but a victor, not a failure but a success, not a loser but a winner, not a mistake of mistaken Identity or a coincidence but the fearfully, wonderfully custom design in the very image of your maker- The almighty God.

Ephesians 1:3, 7 ‘’Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ . . . In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace’’.

In Revelation 5:9-11, we can conclude that Jesus did not only die for us but received on our behalf the seven (7) mentioned life issues indicated this book of Revelation. Also, God has given you Beauty for Ashes, Oil of joy for Mourning and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness (Isaiah 61:3). You are what you are because of what you believe of God and of yourself in Him and in all that Christ has done.

I strongly challenge you today to set your belief in focus, for that will affect how you commemorate and celebrate your “faith” in your Redemption in Christ as shown below:

  • Jesus has been made unto us REDEMPTION, RIGHTEOUSNESS, SANCTIFICATION and WISDOM (1 Corinthians 1:30)
  • He became our SIN that we can be God’s righteousness in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21)
  • He became poor that we might be Rich in Him (2 Corinthians 8:9)
  • He was condemned that we might be justified (Romans 5: 1-21)
  • He bore our sickness and diseases that we might enjoy health (1 Peter 2:24, Isaiah 53:45)
  • We’ve been forgiven and translated from the power of death into the power of life and peace (Colossians 1: 13-14, Ephesians 1:7, 2:1-22 and Hebrew 2: 14-15)
  • For you are more than conquerors. This is true anytime, any day, anywhere and in any circumstances (Romans 8: 37, 2 Corinthians 2: 14-16).
  • Jesus received and restored on our behalf: Power for our fear, Riches for our Poverty, Wisdom for our ignorance and foolishness, Strength for our weakness and limitations, Honour for our reproach, Glory for our Shame and Blessings for all our curses.(Revelation 5:12)

You can make these above mentioned acts of redemption become yours as you pray them into your life until they become seated in your spirit and a lifestyle of daily faith confession and consciousness. Therefore, ARISE! Let’s Commemorate, Celebrate Our Redemption and live FREE for this cause we are saved.

Walk Before God For Your Completeness

Achievers’ Month to JOURNEY 2007 By Their FAITH

Genesis 17: 1-6 ‘’ And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect (complete).

And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly. And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying, As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee ’’.

Ephesians 4: 1-6 ‘’ I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all’’.

I humbly welcome you into this month of January even as I did in the New Year digest. I pray that all things will be under your feet at the turn of pondering over the content of this digest. This being the first month of the year indicates a crucial month to make and define all we intend to achieve in life especially for this year.

One of the great mandates of any achiever who intends to achieve with God is to walk before Him. God in His obligation to restore man to his lost place in Eden began to raise a generation that will do His will. He found a man called Abraham. The first early mandate given was to walk before God if He must be complete as seen in the main text above – Genesis 17: 1. The reason being that the amount of light you can have to make the journey of life through the challenges that come depends on how much of God you have allowed to beam upon you by the walk of Faith before God. Except God has approved a man by his walk with Him, such man’s work of flourishing will not be sustained in the test of time.

Acts 2:22 ‘’Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know’’.

2 Tim. 2:15 ‘’Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (applying) the word of truth’’.

FAITH JOURNEY

If you take a FAITH journey this January, to walk before God absolutely, then the opportunities and privileges that Abraham enjoyed from his walk with God can become yours also as His seed.

Galatians 3: 6-9 ’’Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham . . .’’

Gal. 3:13-14 ‘’Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith . . .’’

Gal 3:26-29 ‘’For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise ’’.

Taking the year journey in a FAITH attitude will enhance your being able to overcome all challenges and circumstances that come your way. Faith remains the only legal tender under heaven to get heaven’s approval and to do business with God.

I John 5: 4-5 ‘’For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?’’.

THE ACT TO WALK BEFORE GOD

  • Walking in Faith is walking in covenant as Abraham walked before God. This will end the spirit of complaints, murmuring and regrets. It will bring absolute Rest, Joy and Comfort to your Soul. (Genesis 17:1)
  • Walking in Faith is walking in the word of God (Romans 10: 6-8, 17, Joshua 1: 18).
  • Walking in Faith is walking in the Spirit. This is the place of refreshing in His presence (Isaiah 28: 11-12, Galatians 5: 25).
  • Walking in Faith is praying in the Spirit to victory (Jude 20, Ephesians 6: 18, Romans 8: 26-28).
  • Walking in Faith is speaking wellness by affirming God’s word into your circumstances (Proverbs 4: 20-22, Revelations 12: 11, Hebrew 10: 23, Romans 10: 6-13, Mark 11: 20-24).
  • Walking in Faith is walking in forgiveness, in knowledge and wisdom and can only function by walking in love (Galatians 5: 6, 13-14, 16, Mark 11:24-26).

FINALLY

I pray that God causes you to triumph victoriously as you start in Faith in this year 2007 which the good Lord has made. Enjoy it as you take the journey of faith to walk before God diligently until your complete rest comes. Hebrews 4:9-11 ‘’There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labor (in faith) therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief’’.

Have a Blessed Journey in year 2007 as you Dare to succeed and prosper!
