The FAITHFUL SAYING PRINCIPLE:
(1Tim. 1:15, 2Tim. 2:11-13; Matt. 13:44-46)
The Faithful Saying Principle of the Wisdom Nuggets are scriptural truths that gives insight and foresight concerning the facts of life. In some cases the facts of life will be overridden by scriptural truths in restoring our human dignity and values. Know full well that facts are not necessarily truths of life in most cases.
It is about scriptural wise statements of faith that gives Hope, Faith and Love to human life in order to triumph, overcome, become and live a victorious, successful and achievable lifestyle.
1Tim.1:15 ‘’This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief’’
2Tim. 2:11-13 ’’It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him,We shall also live with him: If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself’’
1Tim. 3:1 ‘’This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work’’.
Matt. 13:44-46 ‘’Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it’’.
The scriptural truths have to override the facts of any valley experiences that we go through in life. In the truth of God’s Sayings and statements of faith we can have Hope, Faith and Love to rise up and go through life victoriously. We obtain the victory that Christ has already wrought for us and we then become what we are created to be.
This background therefore, is created in order for you to understand the reasons behind the Faithful Saying Nuggets, which are:
- To Transform (not reform) your tri-une being: Spirit, Soul and Body (1 Thess. 5:23, Heb. 4:12-13, Rom. 12:1-2)
- To give life (Hope, Faith & Love) to your being (1Cor. 13:13)
- To deliver you from falsehood as found in many facts of life (Isaiah 8:19-20; 1Tim. 1:3-7; John 3:34; Isaiah 44:26).
The principles of FAITHFUL SAYING:
1. Give attention to God’s WORDS and incline your Ear to God’s SAYINGS: Prov. 4:18-22. It’s irrelevant what has been said or what is being said – only that which God says should be FINAL, otherwise the believer will walk in darkness instead of light (Isaiah 8:19-20). No matter what the established doctrine (law) or testimony (philosophy) is, if not in line with God’s Word, DON’T WALK IN IT, it leads to destruction. God will only commend what He commands (Matt. 28:19-20; Mk. 16:15-20)
Why God’s WORDS and SAYINGS
- (Heb. 4:12-13, 1Thess. 5:23, Proverb 18:20-21; 6:2; Proverbs 12:14;13:2) When we incline our ear to God’s Word or Sayings, healing/health, prosperity, peace etc become activated in our portion or inheritance in life. Just as the moon, does not emit light of its own, it inclines itself to the sun in order for the earth to have a full or partial moon (eclipse of the moon/sun). For Jesus is typified as the SUN of righteousness, when we incline to Him, like the moon, we get the full beam of life. (Malachi 4:2-3)
- Angels of God are only in obedience to God’s WORD and SAYINGS in conveying our blessings or inheritance to us. Psalm 103:20, Heb. 1:7, 14, Ecc. 5:6. They minister to us simply because we have been made joint-heirs with Christ Jesus our Lord. Gal. 3:26-29, 4:6-7; Rom. 8:14-17; Heb. 6:13-20; 1 Pet. 3:7; Titus 3:7. We have by what Christ has done, been accepted into His Beloved, that is, sharing His rights and privileges (Eph. 1:6, Rom. 8:29-30, Heb. 1:5-6, Jn. 3:16, Eph. 1:1-14)
Example: Matthew 4:1-11 (see vs 11) Angels ministered to Jesus because of His stand on God’s WORD: You can hear Christ saying thrice ‘It is written’
2. Taking our Stand in God’s WORD and SAYINGS
- When we take our stand on the WORD, miracles and blessings will become a part of our lifestyle. In Matthew 8:1-13 and Mark 11:20-24, you can take account of how many times the words SAY, SAYING or SAID was used.
- It illustrates the power of the spoken word (Romans 10:6-13). See also, Mark 11:12-14, Isaiah 44:24-26
Finally, our obedience to God’s WORDS and SAYINGS determines the amount of God’s will that we can enjoy in life (Isaiah 1:19). This will end mere religious sacrifice that can hinder the purposes of God in our life. (1 Sam. 15:22).
Be eternally liberated, Amen!
