Mother’s Day MOTHERING SUNDAY is coming soon – It’s Mother’s Day for us here in United Kingdom to celebrate the love and beauty of MOTHERHOOD.
Herein therefore is a TIMELESS WORD OF WISDOM that worth PONDERING ahead of this TIMELY TIMELESS day of RECKONING – MOTHERING SUNDAY:
“Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. 2 Honour thy father and MOTHER; (which is the first commandment with promise;) 3 that it may be WELL WITH THEE, and thou MAYEST LIVE LONG ON THE EARTH” Ephesians 6:1-3.
“My son (child), hear the instruction of your father, And do not FORSAKE the law of your MOTHER for they shall be an ORNAMENT of grace unto thy head, and CHAINS about thy neck . . .” Proverbs 1:8-19
“My son (child), keep your father’s command, And do not forsake the law of your MOTHER . . .” Proverbs 6:20-35.
“The proverbs of Solomon: A wise son (child) makes a glad father, But a FOOLISH son (child) is the GRIEF of his MOTHER . . .” Proverbs 10:1-32.
“A WISE son (child) makes a father glad, But a FOOLISH man DESPISES his MOTHER” Proverbs 15:20.
“He who MISTREATS his father and CHASES away his MOTHER Is a son (child) who CAUSES SHAME and brings REPROACH; Cease, my son (child), to hear the instruction that causes to ERR from the words of knowledge” Proverbs 19:26-27.
