There’s More To And More Than – Prayers: It’s Relationship & Fellowship!
Sometimes People talk how much they do fast or have fasted and prayed as to qualify or earn them somehow a spiritual status of greatness; more especially as we are about turning into a new year, some will set days or weeks or months as if they are in a comparable state to prove something.
Prayer or prayer and fasting is a vitality for every Christian faith believer of which I acclaimed. I love to vitalize my faith through all that, but as important as any or both vitalities are, they are void if the objective is not to enhance FELLOWSHIP and RELATIONSHIP with God and man.
Hence the need to live a life of FORGIVENESS and FORGETFULNESS. Many may say they can forgive but can’t possibly forget. Can you imagine God forgiving you and not forgetting. And if as He is, so are we in this world to carry on His gospel, there’s therefore something more than prayers or prayers and fasting. That is, RELATIONSHIP and FELLOWSHIP which are twine with forgiveness and forgetfulness. Otherwise, prayer will be unanswered and one is only a noise maker of self and in deception no matter how much you acclaimed to prayers or prayer and fasting.
Therefore Think!
I pray that you receive the grace for an effectual and efficient fellowship and relationship with God that will enhanced your prayer life through the Spirit of forgiveness and forgetfulness with man in Jesus’ name, Amen!
“And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. 25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. 26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.” (Mark 11:22-24).
“God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.” (1 Corinthians 1:9).
“Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.” (1 John 4:17).
