“Hezekiah was sick unto death. . . Hezekiah TURNED his face toward THE WALL, and PRAYED unto the Lord . . . Then came THE WORD of the Lord . . . to Hezekiah, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have HEARD thy prayer, I have SEEN thy tears: behold, I will ADD unto thy days fifteen years . . .” Isaiah 38 (2 Kings 20:1-11; 2 Chronicles 32:24-30).
“And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men OUGHT ALWAYS TO PRAY, AND NOT TO FAINT” Luke 18:1.
