SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK: WISDOM NUGGETS AS YOU WELCOME THE NEW DAWN YEAR!
The upcoming YEAR is not for the SLUGGARD, SLOTHFUL and PROCRASTINATORS.
It’s time to REVIEW and CHOOSE your kind of Friends now, before an ENTRANCE into the upcoming YEAR. A colourful, thriving, Purposeful and fulfilling life with godly living is not for the cowards, sluggard, slothful and procrastinators.
Is when people fail to prepare and plan that OTHERS are blamed and made responsible and accountable for their initial mistakes. God wants you to share in His inheritance of grace and BLESSEDNESS. Know for certainty that you don’t share in it, by idling around and making others to pay for your nonchalant attitude and irresponsible and unaccountable approach to life, in your day-to-day dealings.
Resolve today to be DILIGENT to win your day with a PREPARED plan, purpose and pursuit that’s set aright as NEW CREATION, in God’s grace and BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.
SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:
“For God is not UNRIGHTEOUS (UNFAITHFUL, UNGRATEFUL) to forget your WORK and LABOUR of love, which ye have SHEWED toward his name, in that ye have MINISTERED to the saints, and DO MINISTER. 11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same DILIGENCE to the full assurance of hope unto the end: 12 that ye be not SLOTHFUL, but FOLLOWERS of them who through FAITH and PATIENCE INHERIT the PROMISES” Hebrews 6:10-12.
“And now, brethren, I COMMEND you to God, and to the WORD of his grace, which is ABLE to BUILD you up, and to GIVE you an INHERITANCE among all them which are sanctified” Acts 20:32.
“Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I PERCEIVE that God is no RESPECTER of persons: 35 but in EVERY NATION he that FEARETH him, and WORKETH righteousness, is ACCEPTED with him” Acts 10:34-35.
“Seest thou a man DILIGENT in his BUSINESS? he shall STAND before KINGS (ROYALTY, NOBLE, HONOUR, GREATNESS); he shall not stand before MEAN (UNPRODUCTIVE, OBSCURE, SLUGGARD) men” Proverbs 22:29 (Emphasis Mine).
“The horse is PREPARED against the DAY of BATTLE (USEFULNESS): but safety is of the Lord” Proverbs 21:31 (Emphasis Mine).
