SELFLESS SERVICE IN MINISTRY: IN GOD I TRUST – HE’S MY SUFFICIENCY IN CHRIST JESUS!

“Beside those things that are WITHOUT, that which cometh upon me DAILY, the CARE of all the churches” 2 Corinthians 11:28.

“And such TRUST have we through Christ to God-ward: 5 not that we are SUFFICIENT of ourselves to THINK any thing as of ourselves; but our SUFFICIENCY is of God; 6 who also hath MADE US ABLE MINISTERS OF THE NEW TESTAMENT; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit GIVETH life” 2 Corinthians 3:4-6.

“Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. 12 I KNOW BOTH HOW TO BE ABASED, AND I KNOW HOW TO ABOUND: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” Philippians 4:11-13.

“Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another MAN’S FOUNDATION: 21 but as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand” Romans 15:20-21.

“FOR OTHER FOUNDATION CAN NO MAN LAY THAN THAT IS LAID, WHICH IS JESUS CHRIST. 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. 14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward” 1 Corinthians 3:11-14.

“I THEREFORE SO RUN, NOT AS UNCERTAINLY; SO FIGHT I, NOT AS ONE THAT BEATETH THE AIR: 27 but I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway” 1 Corinthians 9:26-27.

“And now, brethren, I COMMEND you to God, and to THE WORD of his grace, which is ABLE to BUILD you up, and to GIVE you an INHERITANCE among all them which are SANCTIFIED” Acts 20:32.

“For God is not UNRIGHTEOUS to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have MINISTERED TO THE SAINTS, and DO MINISTER. 11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same DILIGENCE to the FULL ASSURANCE of hope unto the end: 12 that ye be not slothful, but FOLLOWERS of them who through FAITH and PATIENCE INHERIT THE PROMISES” Hebrews 6:10-12.
