AFD FEBRUARY 2016 THEME

February 2, 2016 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

Feb 2016 AFD Theme_AFD THREE 266X160LOVE – A MORE EXCELLENT WAY!

“The Vitality of Expressing Life More Excellently”

Greetings:
Shalom & Kingdom greetings! Welcome to the new and existing recipients of the Achievers’ FAITH Digest, the Monthly TEACHING Newsletter publication of Year 2016. More so, WELCOME to the gracious Month of Love Life: FEBRUARY 2016!

I gracefully welcome you into this month of expressing LOVE LIFE which embraces FAITH and HOPE in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ; and I pray that His grace, peace, love and mercy might take hold of you with all things under your feet and control according to the Holy covenanted Scriptures as written and spoken concerning you in Christ Jesus gracious name, Amen!

This FEBRUARY been the second month of the year is themed: LOVE – A More Excellent Way! “The Vitality of Expressing Life More Excellently”

1 Corinthians 12:31 “But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way”

I hope that in this month – FEBRUARY 2016 – where many are crazy for the VALENTINE kind of love that is temporal and passes away without an eternal effect in their life, you will be overwhelmed by God’s kind of Love called AGAPE (Greek) which is timeless meaning eternal and permanent to affect your life in every perspective – 2 Corinthians 4:18 “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal”. May you come to know that by his agape kind of love, you will do life and have the right reason to celebrate God; thereby reign and do life triumphantly on a daily basis by the FAITH that works by love to ensure all things, are brought under your feet and control, by Christ Jesus, in the fullness of His grace towards you. Amen.

I do know that a man’s ignorance is his own mountain and the knowledge of the truth will set him free. Hence I therefore commend you to take time to ponder and meditate on the theme through and through in prayers.

Acts 20:32 “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified“.

Herein Are The Scriptural Reading To This Month February Theme:

1 Corinthians 12:31 “But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way“.

1 Corinthians 13:1-13 “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. 4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. 13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love”.

1 John 5:3-5 “For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?”

However, this February 2016 theme will be expanded in course of the SERVICES & TIMES in all meetings through the year and Month in “Scripture Pasture” Study and “Pastoral Messages & Ministrations”.

I gladly welcome you, your friends and family to be with us in Fellowship and Worship. I promise you that you can never be the same again as you ponder over the truth of these unadulterated, inspiring, revealing and empowering living word of God. I pray that God revitalize and rejuvenates you and all that is about you, so that you may become the very best of which God has created you to be in your daily journey of Destiny Molding, Life Transformation, Dignity Restoration and Kingdom Faith Establishment, Community Social Cohesion and Enrichment and Development, Success Empowerment & Fulfillment, Grace Impartation and more, while awaiting the Lord’s Return.

Until then, have a crown year 2016 of The GREATER Life: A year of “Colouring, Thriving & Blossoming Your WORLDS By The Greater Life”.

Excellence Is Pure

November 5, 2014 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

Excellence Is Pure – Envision It!

Sometimes when I hear some so called Gospel Ministers and Christian faith believers say this: ‘It doesn’t matter what they do God still loves them’, I begin to wonder what this life of grace has become in the 21st century.

Is it true that God still loves us in faith no matter what we do? Who then will question the unsaved and what right do we have then to preach the Gospel to the unsaved.

Know full well that God loves us, does not mean He does commend a life being lived outside His Word. As I have always said time and again that our God will only COMMEND what He COMMAND and ORDERED. All things excellent will work for the good of those who not only love God BUT walk and do according to the course of His Word – Purpose.

Many times, God’s purposes of excellence to us, is so clear before us, but we need to walk and work in the course of that envisioned covenant of His grace; and if one begin to do any act of life outside His Word, we will surely loose out in our place of grace to excel. Apostle Paul says this in Galatians 2:21 ” I do not FRUSTRATE the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain”. Meaning I do not do things that will make the grace of inoperative and ineffective in my life.

Living example of frustrating grace is as this: That’s what happened to Reuben the first born of Jacob. Though born for envisioned excellent, he lost his place of blessedness to excel to his younger brother Joseph, for sleeping with one of His father’s wives. You can’t eat your cake and have it. Grace for excellence is not cheap or not to be taken for granted and done with despite as Hebrews 10:29 warns and enjoins:

“of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done DESPITE unto the Spirit of grace?”

When you look through the heroes of Faith in Patriarchal order of Hebrews chapter eleven, you will notice after Jacob comes Joseph instead of Reuben though he was his father’s excellency of dignity. That’s why you must be on guard on your envisioned excellence.

EXCELLENCE IS PURE! So, if you crave to have God’s good and best, watch your path of life to the envisioned excellence.

“And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days. 2 Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father. 3 Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power: 4 unstable as water, thou shalt not EXCEL; because thou wentest up to thy father’s bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch” (Genesis 49:1-4).

“. . . By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come. 21 By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff. 22 By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones. . .” (Hebrews 11:20-22).

Marriage – A Great Mystery!

July 14, 2012 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

LOVE AND SUBMISSION MAKES MARRIAGE A GREAT MYSTERY

“Marrying someone you love and loving  (being faithful and trustworthy to) the person you marry is the beauty of true and intimate manhood”.

“Marrying someone you can submit to and submitting (in excellent spirit) to the person you marry is the virtue of true womanhood”.

“Many a man proclaims his own loyalty and goodness, But who can find a faithful and trustworthy man?” Proverbs 20:6 (Amplified).

“An excellent woman [one who is spiritual, capable, intelligent, and virtuous], who is he who can find her? Her value is more precious than jewels and her worth is far above rubies or pearls “Proverbs 31:10 (Amplified).

“Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. 22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband” Ephesians 5:21-33 (KJV).

“In the same way, you wives, be submissive to your own husbands [subordinate, not as inferior, but out of respect for the responsibilities entrusted to husbands and their accountability to God, and so partnering with them] so that even if some do not obey the word [of God], they may be won over [to Christ] without discussion by the godly lives of their wives, 2 when they see your modest and respectful behavior [together with your devotion and appreciation—love your husband, encourage him, and enjoy him as a blessing from God]. 3 Your adornment must not be merely external—with interweaving and elaborate knotting of the hair, and wearing gold jewelry, or [being superficially preoccupied with] dressing in expensive clothes; 4 but let it be [the inner beauty of] the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality and unfading charm of a gentle and peaceful spirit, [one that is calm and self-controlled, not overanxious, but serene and spiritually mature] which is very precious in the sight of God. 5 For in this way in former times the holy women, who hoped in God, used to adorn themselves, being submissive to their own husbands and adapting themselves to them; 6 just as Sarah obeyed Abraham [following him and having regard for him as head of their house], calling him lord. And you have become her daughters if you do what is right without being frightened by any fear [that is, being respectful toward your husband but not giving in to intimidation, nor allowing yourself to be led into sin, nor to be harmed]. 7 In the same way, you husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way [with great gentleness and tact, and with an intelligent regard for the marriage relationship], as with someone physically weaker, since she is a woman. Show her honor and respect as a fellow heir of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered or ineffective. 8 Finally, all of you be like-minded [united in spirit], sympathetic, brotherly, kindhearted [courteous and compassionate toward each other as members of one household], and humble in spirit; 9 and never return evil for evil or insult for insult [avoid scolding, berating, and any kind of abuse], but on the contrary, give a blessing [pray for one another’s well-being, contentment, and protection]; for you have been called for this very purpose, that you might inherit a blessing [from God that brings well-being, happiness, and protection]. 10 For, “The one who wants to enjoy life and see good days [good—whether apparent or not], Must keep his tongue free from evil and his lips from speaking guile (treachery, deceit). 11 “He must turn away from wickedness and do what is right. He must search for peace [with God, with self, with others] and pursue it eagerly [actively—not merely desiring it]. 12  “For the eyes of the Lord are [looking favorably] upon the righteous (the upright), And His ears are attentive to their prayer (eager to answer), But the face of the Lord is against those who practice evil” 1 Peter 3:1-12 (Amplified).
