NIGERIA INDEPENDENCE DAY – OCTOBER 1, 1960: HAPPY AND BLESSED INDEPENDENCE TO NIGERIAN BLOOD COMPATRIOTS!
It’s my greatest wish and prayers that NIGERIA and NIGERIANS will begin to sing a New song of hope and grace. No longer song of shame and fear, no longer song of homelessness and hopelessness, no longer of wickedness, evil and sentiments of any degree, no longer song of failed government and failed state and such like but song of hope, blossoming, refreshing and rejuvenating, song of creativity, innovation and exploring, song of good GOVERNANCE and LEADERSHIP that LEADS; and not failed GOVERNANCE of RULERSHIP and RULERS anymore and such like.
May the Revelation 5:9-10, unveil a new song of hope to all.
“And they SUNG a NEW SONG, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast REDEEMED us to God by thy blood out of every KINDRED, and TONGUE, and PEOPLE, and NATION; 10 and hast MADE us unto our God KINGS and PRIESTS: and we shall REIGN on the EARTH” Revelation 5:9-10.
Nigeria shall be SAVED as she is been SAVED, because the blood of Christ was shed for her as any other nation and that cannot be in vain. For the nation is the Lord’s – He is the GOVERNOR among all the 36 States and the Capital CITY territory.
“All the ENDS OF THE WORLD shall remember and turn unto the Lord: and all the KINDREDS of the NATIONS shall WORSHIP before thee. 28 For the KINGDOM IS THE LORD’S: and he is the GOVERNOR among the NATIONS” Psalms 22:27-28.
May God who determines the times, boundaries and territories of nations fulfill His PLAN, PURPOSE and PURSUIT for the cause and course of the nation as Nigeria, as in many others in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.
“The God who CREATED THE WORLD AND EVERYTHING IN IT, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; 25 nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, because it is He who gives to all [people] life and breath and all things. 26 And He made from one man EVERY NATION OF MANKIND to live on the face of the earth, HAVING DETERMINED THEIR APPOINTED TIMES AND THE BOUNDARIES OF THEIR LANDS AND TERRITORIES. 27 This was so that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grasp for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us. 28 FOR IN HIM WE LIVE AND MOVE AND EXIST [that is, in Him we actually have our being], as even some of your own poets have said, ‘FOR WE ALSO ARE HIS CHILDREN” Acts 17:24-27 Amplified.
Therefore, by the Scripture may Nigeria and Nigerians finds purpose and fulfillments in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.
SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:
“All the ENDS OF THE WORLD shall remember and turn unto the Lord: and all the KINDREDS of the NATIONS shall WORSHIP before thee. 28 For the KINGDOM IS THE LORD’S: and he is the GOVERNOR among the NATIONS” Psalms 22:27-28.
“After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all NATIONS, and KINDREDS, and PEOPLE, and TONGUES, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; 10 and cried with a loud voice, saying, SALVATION to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. 11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God” Revelation 7:9-11.
