Matthew 16:17-19 “And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. 18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven“.
Acts 5:20 “Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life”.
If the members or congregation have not their faith in God established as yours in God, they will drain the anointing on you. Established them on their own faith in God, it’s what you do with the Church determines where their faith stands. Faith will establish them. What you feed them with determines their faith in God. That will make them perform for God and with God.
People will always treasure what they respect and have regards for. If you make the ministry cheap and of no substance, that’s what the congregation will treat it or respond to. If you are ashamed of acclaiming to whom you are and what God has called you to be, you will lose the covering grace over you. Give value and regards to who you are by God’s grace and celebrate it; and don’t let circumstances, material things and people determine your joy or happiness less it will be a distraction and rob you of your sense of direction in the call.
