SCRIPTURAL TRUTH – ILLUMINATING AND ENLIGHTENING OUR WORLD BY HIS LIGHT: HIS LIGHT IN OUR DARKNESS!
“For God, who commanded THE LIGHT TO SHINE OUT OF DARKNESS, hath SHINED IN OUR HEARTS, TO GIVE THE LIGHT OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE GLORY OF GOD in the face of Jesus Christ” 2 Corinthians 4:6.
You can only ILLUMINATE and ENLIGHTEN others by the illumination and enlightening that you have RECEIVED in you of God. And only by the ENTRANCE of the WORD in you can you be able to GIVE LIGHT – ILLUMINATION and ENLIGHTENMENT to others.
Therefore, be engrossed with THE WORD, that you might both RECEIVE LIGHT and be able to ILLUMINATE and ENLIGHTEN others by THE WORD – in and out of DARKNESS. For God’s light shines – illuminates OUT OF DARKNESS and NOT UPON DARKNESS. Meaning you can shine out of the darkness about you, just as a plant can grow out of the rock because of the potential within.
IT’S YOUR MOMENT OF ILLUMINATING AND ENLIGHTENING YOUR WORLD BY HIS LIGHT – HIS LIGHT IN AND OUT OF OUR DARKNESS.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it GIVES LIGHT to all who are in the house. 16 Let your LIGHT so SHINE before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven” Matthew 5:14-16.

“In the beginning was THE WORD, and THE WORD was with God, and THE WORD was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the LIFE was the LIGHT of men. 5 And the LIGHT shineth in DARKNESS; and the darkness COMPREHENDED it not” John 1:1-5.
