THE CELEBRATION OF OUR JUSTIFICATION IN CHRIST JESUS
Romans 5:1-2‘’Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God’’
Luke 15:3-32 ‘’ Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him. And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them. And he spake this parable unto them, saying, What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbors, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it? And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbors together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost. Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. And he said, A certain man had two sons: And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living. And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want. And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him. Andwhen he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry. Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard music and dancing. And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant. And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound. And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and entreated him. And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends: But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf. And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine. It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found’’
Its time to raise your head and shoulders, chest out and walk through life in freedom without fear or intimidation because of what Christ has done in you – JUSTIFICATION. Whether you realise this truth or not – when you are born again, you are justified in Christ Jesus our Lord through faith that brought our salvation. To be justified in Christ Jesus is to be declared guiltless. As one who did not commit that which he is accused of committing! Why celebrate. . . Because there is joy in heaven for your justification in the Lord. (Luke 15:7, 10, 22-32; Romans 5:1-2). It is time to reign in life from our POSITION of JUSTIFICATION in Christ Jesus and not from our CONDITION. Hence you must live your life without fear, guilt, inferiority or intimidation.
2Timothy 1:7 ‘’For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind ’’
Luke1:74-75 ‘’That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life’’.
Hebrews 2:14-15 ‘’Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage’’
Your circumstances or condition will not only fail, intimidate and limit you with time – but also rob you of reigning, triumphing and overcoming in life. Our situations will cripple our peace in the long run, no matter how glorious they are today. Hence as achievers in Christ Jesus we must live in a new consciousness by the reasons of what Christ has done in us. The consciousness of the one that God has justified. Live in the fullness of the freedom that God offers in His Kingdom.
2Corinthians 2:14 ‘’ . . . thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savor of his knowledge by us in every place’’
1Corinthians 15:57‘’ . . . thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ’’
Romans 8:37 ‘‘. . . we are more than conquerors through him that loved us’’
For this knowledge, wise men like King David, with all his achievements, continually maintained a joyous celebration, declaring the Lord as his shepherd and source of total wellbeing. That is, doing life and exhibiting a life style of JUSTIFICATION from his Position in the Lord.
Psalm 23 ‘’A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever’’
Let us celebrate, invite a friend or family this month to your home and have a joyous occasion. It is worth more than anything material. There is nothing that can compare with a lifestyle filled with joyous celebration through and through.

COVENANT ACTS OF REDEMPTION
A commemoration Month of celebrating our REDEMPTION from sin:
“Sickness, Poverty and Spiritual Death”
Rev. 5: 9 – 12 ‘’And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to RECEIVE power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing’’.
No matter our circumstances today, the fact and the truth remains that Jesus had paid for our SIN and liberated us from SIN and its Effect – Sickness, Poverty and Spiritual death. You can walk with your head up, for you are no longer a captive but a victor, not a failure but a success, not a loser but a winner, not a mistake of mistaken Identity or a coincidence but the fearfully, wonderfully custom design in the very image of your maker- The almighty God.
Ephesians 1:3, 7 ‘’Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ . . . In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace’’.
Ephesians 2:4-7 ‘’But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, by (grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus’’
In Revelation 5:9-11, we can conclude that Jesus did not only die for us but received on our behalf the seven (7) mentioned life issues indicated this book of Revelation. Also, God has given you Beauty for Ashes, Oil of joy for Mourning and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness (Isaiah 61:3). You are what you are because of what you believe of God and of yourself in Him and in all that Christ has done.
I strongly challenge you today to set your belief in focus, for that will affect how you commemorate and celebrate your “faith” in your Redemption in Christ as shown below:
- Jesus has been made unto us REDEMPTION, RIGHTEOUSNESS, SANCTIFICATION and WISDOM (1 Corinthians 1:30)
- He became our SIN that we can be God’s righteousness in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21)
- He became poor that we might be Rich in Him (2 Corinthians 8:9)
- He was condemned that we might be justified (Romans 5: 1-21)
- He bore our sickness and diseases that we might enjoy health (1 Peter 2:24, Isaiah 53:45)
- We’ve been forgiven and translated from the power of death into the power of life and peace (Colossians 1: 13-14, Ephesians 1:7, 2:1-22 and Hebrew 2: 14-15)
- For you are more than conquerors. This is true anytime, any day, anywhere and in any circumstances (Romans 8: 37, 2 Corinthians 2: 14-16).
- Jesus received and restored on our behalf: Power for our fear, Riches for our Poverty, Wisdom for our ignorance and foolishness, Strength for our weakness and limitations, Honour for our reproach, Glory for our Shame and Blessings for all our curses.(Revelation 5:12)
You can make these above mentioned acts of redemption become yours as you pray them into your life until they become seated in your spirit and a lifestyle of daily faith confession and consciousness. Therefore, ARISE! Let’s Commemorate, Celebrate Our Redemption and live FREE for this cause we are saved.
