“My son, attend to my words; INCLINE thine ear unto my sayings . . .” Proverbs 4:20-23.
“And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was LED by the Spirit into the wilderness . . . 14 And Jesus RETURNED in the POWER of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a FAME of him through all the region round about . . . 22 And ALL BARE HIM WITNESS, and wondered at the GRACIOUS WORDS which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, IS NOT THIS JOSEPH’S SON?” Luke 4:1-22.
“For as MANY as are LED by the Spirit of God, they ARE the SONS of God” Romans 8:14.
“. . . Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is THE WORD of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, NOT BY MIGHT, NOR BY POWER, BUT BY MY SPIRIT, saith the Lord of hosts . . .” Zechariah 4:5-7.
“There be THREE THINGS which are too wonderful for me, yea, four which I know not: 19 THE WAY OF AN EAGLE IN THE AIR; the way of a serpent upon a rock; the way of a ship in the midst of the sea; and the way of a man with a maid” Proverbs 30:18-19.
“The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. 4 Every VALLEY shall be EXALTED, and every MOUNTAIN and HILL shall be made LOW: and the CROOKED shall be made STRAIGHT, and the ROUGH places PLAIN: 5 and the GLORY of the Lord shall be REVEALED, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it . . . 28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. 29 He giveth POWER to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; THEY SHALL MOUNT UP WITH WINGS AS EAGLES; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” Isaiah 40:3-5, 28-31.
