The Father’s Heart – LOVE AT ITS BEST: To LOVE The LORD GOD Almighty!
“Be ye therefore FOLLOWERS of God, as dear children; 2 and WALK IN LOVE, as Christ also hath LOVED us, and hath GIVEN himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour” Ephesians 5:1-2.
There’s nothing as gracious and graceful to loving God. It’s the hallmark and bedrock to WORSHIP Him WORTHILY and to SERVE Him ACCEPTABLY without sentiments, prejudice and dissimulation, in the grace in Christ Jesus stead.
Let me just give two hallmarks that will cause you to see the needs to LOVE God the more unreservedly and wholeheartedly, as you do life and live godly in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.
Firstly, when you love God, you make yourself available for gracious call and then triggered the enabling grace of God, that makes all things [good or bad], to work out for your good and goodness in the grace, in order to fulfill His plan and purpose that concerns you as His called-out one, as it’s written:
“And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who LOVE God, to those who are CALLED according to His PLAN and PURPOSE” Romans 8:28/Amplified.
“In Him also we have received an inheritance [a destiny—we were claimed by God as His own], having been predestined (chosen, appointed beforehand) according to the PURPOSE of Him who works everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His will, 12 so that we who were the first to hope in Christ [who first put our confidence in Him as our Lord and Savior] would exist to the praise of His glory” Ephesians 1:11-12/Amplified.
Secondly, when you love God, you give Him the permission to unveiled all things about you that no eyes have seen or ears heard neither have entered into any man’s hearts on the matters that concerns you personally – hence you don’t let anyone talk you out of your convictions of God who loves you dearly. And this act of yours to love God, triggers the blessed Holy Spirit to reveal to you, the true you, the full details of God’s intent for you in order to fulfil life meaningfully. So that anyone speaking to you about anything, it’s only being used to confirm what you’ve already known by the Holy Spirit revelation, and anything otherwise you will throw it into the dustbin to avoid pollution on your worth in the grace.
“But as it is written, Eye hath NOT SEEN, NOR EAR HEARD, neither have entered into the HEART of man, the things which God hath PREPARED for them that LOVE him. 10 But God hath REVEALED them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit SEARCHETH all things, yea, the DEEP THINGS of God” 1 Corinthians 2:9-10.
So, you can see that loving God is gracious. He made us and saved us [Revelation 1:5-6], and wants the best for us. It’s important that we resolved within us to love God so that we can enjoy His presence and share in His promises as in the whole counsel of God. There are many hidden inexhaustible rewards involved involving God.
However, one need to grow to mature to the phase and stage and status in the grace wherein you come to a level of living and loving God as if conditioned and conditioning; such that our loving God is not necessarily of His BLESSEDNESS but because of who He’s as the Father God of Love, who is defined by love and desired us to live in love toward Him; more so, such that in our worship and service towards Him, is bounded by love, to enable Him express Himself through us in His love by the Holy Spirit of love, that He had given us to do life and live godly in the grace in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.
“He that LOVETH not knoweth not God; for God is LOVE . . . 16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is LOVE; and he that dwelleth in LOVE dwelleth in God, and God in him” 1 John 4:8, 16.
“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the LOVE of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us . . . 8 But God commendeth his LOVE toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” Romans 5:5, 8.
God loves us, let’s walk in His love in Christ Jesus in order to fulfil His plan and purpose concerning us by the revelation of His will to us personally without any intermediary of all about us individually and collectively as His Church in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.
Blessed regards as you go living and loving God all the way.
